Specsavers Launch
Reaffirming its commitment to the local community, Specsavers Nenagh has announced the renewal of its sponsorship agreement with local GAA club, Nenagh Éire Óg. This continued partnership underscores Specsavers Nenagh’s belief in backing the local community at all stages of the life.
Speaking on the announcement, Store Director of Specsavers Nenagh, Orlagh Moynihan said: ‘Like many communities across Ireland, the local GAA club plays a key role in bringing people in the community together. The success of our business is thanks to the continued support of the local people and that it why we are delighted to continue this partnership. This announcement reflects our commitment to nurturing these successes and supporting the club’s bright future.’
Nenagh Éire Óg club Treasurer Jim Nagle expressed: ‘We are absolutely thrilled to have Specsavers Nenagh on board with us again. Their support over the years has been invaluable, and their renewed commitment is a huge vote of confidence in our club and what we’re building here in the community. We look forward to celebrating many more successes together in the future.’
Specsavers Nenagh has been a steadfast supporter of Nenagh Éire Óg since its first sponsorship agreement in 2019, playing a key role in sponsoring team jerseys, as well as providing financial support for upgraded club facilities. Recent developments have included a four-panel hurling wall alongside an astro turf pitch. Additionally, having acquired 10 acres of adjacent land several years ago, Nenagh Éire Ógrecently laid a sand-based field complete with drainage and security fencing. This new field, which will also include posts, ball nets and lighting pylons, is scheduled for full use by the summer of 2025. The support from the renewed agreement will also go towards new dressing rooms for the new field, the construction of a 2.5 km community walkway/cycleway as well as to the plans to add a 200m² gymnasium.
At Specsavers Nenagh, customers are always guaranteed expert eye care and hearing services, exceptional choice, and outstanding value for money.
