Our footballers played host to two teams from west of the Shannon on Sunday morning last. Both Tulsk and St Croans made the long journey from Roscommon and contributed to a really great morning in McDonagh Park. Both our teams gave a really good account of themselves against really good opposition. Fantastic skills on show from both our boys and the Roscommon teams. All of the boys enjoyed some well deserved refreshments afterwards in the complex. A great mornings football and a big thanks to Tulsk and St Croans for making the trip to Tipp.
The boys made the trip to Semple Stadium on Tuesday. The boys were taken on a tour of the stadium with Tipperary U-20 star Darragh McCarthy who gave them some great advice and some nuggets of information in the Semple dressing rooms.
After making the magical run out through the tunnel onto the hallowed ground at Semple the boys put in great performances against Clonea Power and Cois Bride from Waterford and Glenroe from Limerick.
Days out like this make magical memories for the boys, thanks very much to Cathal and the coaches for organising.
