Ben West wins a second-half free against JK Brackens
Best of luck to our senior hurlers as they begin their County Senior Hurling Championship campaign this weekend. They take on JK Brackens in Templederry, with throw-in at 7.30pm on Saturday.
Junior A
Niall Madden in action against Borris-Ileigh
Best of luck to our Junior A hurlers, who face Borris-Ileigh in the North Quarter-Final on Friday evening. Throw-in is at 7.30pm in Roscrea.
Junior C
John O’Reilly scores a first-half point against Shannon Rovers last year.
Our Junior C hurlers are also in action on Thursday evening when they take on Shannon Rovers. Throw-in is at 8pm in Nenagh.

Under-8 Boys
Our under-8 boys played Toomevara in a blitz on Saturday morning and performed brilliantly. There was huge energy, great teamwork and fantastic progress on display from this hardworking group.

Under-10 Boys
The under-10 boys travelled to Ballina on Saturday morning for a blitz and produced a series of very impressive, high-tempo performances. Superb teamwork and spirit were evident throughout. Well done to all involved. Training continues every Wednesday evening.

Under-12 Boys
Both under-12 teams were in action against Borris-Ileigh last week, playing two entertaining games in the heat. Well done to all the boys, who put in a tremendous effort and represented the club so well.

The under-14 boys are in action on Thursday evening when they host Naomh Eoin in Nenagh. Throw-in is at 6.45pm. We wish the players and management the very best of luck. New and returning players are always welcome.

Our under-16A team recorded an excellent victory over Ballina in Nenagh last Monday evening with a superb all-round performance. Congratulations to the players and management. New and returning players are always welcome.

Our under-18 hurlers were narrowly beaten by Borris-Ileigh last week in a thrilling contest, with the visitors edging victory by a single point. It was a wholehearted performance from the Nenagh side, with plenty of positives to take from the display.

Grace O’Brien
Best of luck to Grace O’Brien, the Tipperary senior camogie team and management as they take on Cork in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Semi-Final this Saturday, 25th July. Throw-in is at 6.00pm in FBD Semple Stadium.
We wish Grace and the team every success as they aim to book their place in the All-Ireland Final.
Congratulations also to our under-14 player, Emily Harmse, who proudly represented Tipperary on the under-14C team in the Orla McDonagh Memorial Tournament on Saturday, 18th July.

Under-8 Girls
The under-8s having fun at their blitz in MacDonagh Park against Kiladangan
Our under-8 girls enjoyed a fantastic blitz against Kiladangan in Nenagh. They were outstanding throughout, displaying excellent skill, teamwork, determination and enthusiasm. They matched a very strong Kiladangan side every step of the way and played with the spirit that makes this group so special.
After the games, the girls enjoyed ice pops in the sunshine before recording good luck messages for the Tipperary senior camogie team, and especially Grace O’Brien, ahead of Saturday’s All-Ireland Senior Camogie Semi-Final in FBD Semple Stadium.
Training continues next Wednesday.

Under-10 Girls
The under-10s at their blitz in Adare
Our under-10 girls travelled to Adare on Saturday morning to take part in a blitz, where they faced Bruff, Adare and Granagh-Ballingarry. It was a fantastic morning of camogie, with the girls enjoying four games and producing excellent performances throughout.
They showed great teamwork, skill and determination, representing Nenagh Éire Óg with great pride.
Training continues on Monday at 6.00pm.
Under-13 Girls
Our under-13 girls were in excellent form as they overcame Newport Ballinahinch in splendid sunshine at MacDonagh Park.
They are back in action this Tuesday evening when they host Portroe in Nenagh. Throw-in is at 7.30pm.
Minor
Following last Wednesday evening’s defeat to Slieve Felim in Kilcommon, our minor girls return to action on Tuesday evening in the third round of their group campaign.
They face Silvermines in Dolla, with throw-in at 7.30pm.
Sympathy
Deepest sympathies from everyone at Nenagh Éire Óg are extended to the Walsh family on the passing of Joyce Walsh, and to the O’Connor family on the passing of Seán Lynch.
May they both rest in peace.
