There was some great news this week with Evan Murphy winning the under-16 poc fada competition and some encouraging results for Éire Óg juvenile teams. Another edition of the monthly newsletter is now available to download while the senior team return to competitive action this week. And, of course, the Blues 10K will grace the streets of Nenagh on Sunday morning!

Although everyone was disappointed to see the seniors get knocked out of the north championship the junior B team completed their league campaign with an encouraging win over Shannon Rovers. The under-14 hurlers launch their championship campaign this week and don’t forget that the Blues 10K returns to the streets of Nenagh on Sunday, June 14th!

Donach O’Donnell’s fourteen-man Toomevara team, inspired by the outstanding free-taking of Ken Dunne, enjoyed a two-point win over Nenagh Éire Óg at MacDonagh Park, Cloughjordan on Sunday evening – corner-forward Paul Ryan fired home a goal in the 61st minute which sealed the Blues’ fate.
