Nenagh Éire Óg got their minor A football championship campaign back on track on Friday evening when beating Portroe by six points in Portroe. The result now means that the Blues have secured their place in the semi-finals unless Portroe beat Newport Gaels in their final group game – Éire Óg were beaten by Newport Gaels in the last round.

A terrific display saw the Éire Óg junior A Camogie team register a thirteen-point win over Burgess at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on Sunday afternoon. This display featured some great scores, excellent approach play and a terrific work rate.

Cian Tucker’s junior B hurling team lost to Moneygall in a highly-entertaining contest on Saturday evening. Once more Éire Óg battled to the bitter end and should be proud of their endeavour and the quality of their hurling.

The Nenagh Éire Óg minor A football team lost by nine points to an excellent Newport Gaels outfit at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on Wednesday evening. That said the Nenagh management team led by John Manley were delighted with the Blues’ hard-working display.

The fixture details have been finalised for Nenagh Éire Óg’s first game in the 2015 county senior hurling championship while Nenagh Handball Club’s Sinéad Meagher is this week celebrating a stunning All-Ireland victory. The Nenagh Éire Óg junior Bs suffered a defeat in their opening game of the league at MacDonagh Park on Saturday evening. However, despite losing by four points this was a spirited display which the lads can build on.
