Nenagh Éire Óg travelled to Roscrea to take on the hosts in our opening game of the north Tipperary junior A league and despite a battling performance left empty-handed as the hosts emerged victorious thanks to Jim McDonnell’s late goal.

Nenagh Éire Óg got their minor A football championship campaign back on track on Friday evening when beating Portroe by six points in Portroe. The result now means that the Blues have secured their place in the semi-finals unless Portroe beat Newport Gaels in their final group game – Éire Óg were beaten by Newport Gaels in the last round.

A terrific display saw the Éire Óg junior A Camogie team register a thirteen-point win over Burgess at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on Sunday afternoon. This display featured some great scores, excellent approach play and a terrific work rate.
