Éire Óg’s senior hurlers prepare to take on an outstanding Borris-Ileigh team in this weekend’s Hibernian Inn North Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship semi-final. Meanwhile the junior A Camogie team made history with a dramatic win over Templemore and the under-14A hurlers progressed to the north final.

The July edition of the club newsletter has now been published and features a terrific article on the 1906 Nenagh Hurling Tournament. Meanwhile the junior A hurlers booked their place in the knock-out stage of the north championship while the junior A Camogie team are set to make history on Thursday evening!

Congratulations to Sarah Quigley, Grace O’Brien, Maeve Coffey, Hazel McAuliffe and the Tipperary under-16 Camogie team which qualified for the All-Ireland final following a great win over Cork. A huge well done also goes to our under-15 Camogie team which captured the county league title last Wednesday. In other news the minor A hurlers face a critical clash with Kilruane MacDonagh’s on Thursday, the under-14 hurlers are in semi-final action next Saturday and the senior hurlers have been drawn against Borris-Ileigh in the north semi-finals.
