Social Hurling
A masterclass display from the bibs on Thursday night’s social hurling encounter. 7 goals from the inform Mick Hutchinson, one of them on a par with the great Paul Flynn’s top spin strike for Waterford in the 2004 Munster Final secured the 9-3 victory. Not even the introduction of Suzy White could stem the tide for the non-bibs.
An honorary mention for Eddie Tucker’s support play throughout but Hutchinson’s performance cannot be overlooked for the man of the match accolade.
Anyone interested in playing social ground hurling can contact Conor O’Donovan 087-6107360
Tipperary
The Tipperary Senior hurling team got off to a great start in their league campaign, with wins over Galway and Wexford, but fell short to Limerick in their latest fixture. We have 3 club representatives on the panel, Jake Morris, Josh Keller and Sam O’ Farrell. Sam and Josh both made their debuts in the league. They face Cork at home on Saturday with throw in at 7.30pm in Semple Stadium. Best of luck.
