Get fit for 2020 Challenge with Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie
As January comes around each year most people have their fitness goals and New Year’s resolutions to try to tackle. Sometimes it can be hard to motivate yourself off the sofa or even find the time to fit in a walk or an exercise class. This year Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie club would like to help improve the fitness levels of players, parents and members with a new Get Fit for 2020 Challenge.
The club is offering 20 sessions for €20 to help you kick start your New Year with a series of running and circuit sessions. Registration and start date is planned for the 21st of January at the Nenagh Éire Óg Complex at 6pm and sessions will take place every Tuesday and Thursday for ten weeks.
Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm will involve a circuits session in the Éire Óg Complex and Thursdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm will be a running session on the pitch under floodlights following a ‘Couch to 5k’ programme building up to a 5KM run on the 24th of March.
Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie Club would like to welcome any players from under-12s upwards, parents of players and any members of the Nenagh Éire Óg GAA & Camogie Club are welcome to take part. Under-18s will be free of charge. The idea and timing of the sessions is based on allowing parents and members to drop their children to after-school activities and attend the fitness session for an hour to make the most of their time.
There is no need to register in advance, please just show up wearing suitable clothing and bring some water and join the club in their Get Fit for 2020 Challenge. Contact any member of the Camogie committee for details or message us on the Nenagh Eire Og Facebook page. See you on the 21st January at 6pm.
