Operation Transformation is back and the latest from Nenagh Handball Club all in this week’s news on the Blues

Ireland Lights Up

The popular ‘Ireland Lights Up’ walking initiative returns to Nenagh Éire Óg next week in partnership with the GAA Operation Transformation, and Get Ireland Walking.

If you would like to participate you are more than welcome to join us in our walks around the town from 7pm to 8pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening from MacDonagh Park, starting 7th January.

Nenagh Handball Club

Nenagh Handball Club were well represented at the Cumann na mBunscol Handball county championships on Saturday in Nenagh. We had players competing for St. Mary’s Convent Primary, the Gaelscoil, Ardcroney and Carrig National Schools. Many thanks to the teachers and organisers especially Paddy Collins and Eamonn Spillane.

Borris-Ileigh

Congratulations to Borris-Ileigh who qualified for the All-Ireland club final in two week’s time following a sensational 1-21 to 1-14 scoreline. Best of luck lads in the final.
