Junior A League
Our Junior As got their league campaign off to a winning start with an 8 point win over Kilruane MacDonaghs on Fri evening last. Score in the game was 28 points to 2 – 14
We have a bye in Round 2 next weekend and will play Toomevara in Round 3 on 9th June.
Lotto
There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 3, 14, 26 & 32.

Scrap Metal Collection Fundraiser
Nenagh Éire Óg will be holding a Scrap Metal Collection in July – dates and times for drop off are outlined below. This gives plenty of time to organise any scrap metal that you have and drop it to us in July.

Following a review of all players and committee members, there are still a number of membership subscriptions outstanding in both groups.
This is a gentle reminder that as per GAA rules all players and committee members must be club members.

Guess The Score Fundraiser
Thanks to everyone who supported our guess the score fundraiser. As there was no outright winner of the Guess The Score competition we held a seller’s draw for two €25 prizes. This was our most successful camp yet with our highest numbers of boys and girls coming along and joining in the fun and games.
We are very excited for these young Éire Óg stars now as they progress to their first U5 boys training at 10am on Sat mornings followed by the U6 girls 11am, both on our wonderful club astro facility.

Ou under 7 boys had a great morning in Puckane on Saturday last against Kiladangan. Excellent numbers, super enthusiasm and loads of fun. We are all looking forward to a great Summer.

Thanks to Cian and Mark O’Farrell for coming along to training this week. We play Ballina and Newport next weekend in Ballina.
Training continues on Tuesday evenings from 6-7.15pm and Saturday mornings at 10am.

Under 11
Under 11 boys played Monaleen on Saturday morning last. The boys will participate in the U11 Michael Hogan football blitz next weekend.
Tuesday evening training for hurling at 6pm followed by football later in the week tbc. No training this Friday evening before the blitz.

Under 13
The boys played Dúrlas Óg on Sunday morning last and will play Burgess in Kilcolman on Tuesday evening at 6.30.

Hurling training this week is on Tuesday at 6:30, Thursday at 6:30 & Saturday at 3:00.
Under 17
Well done to the U17s who beat Boherlahan on the hurling league on Wed evening last. Training continues as usual this week.

We are looking forward to this week’s blitz in Clonoulty-Rossmore on Wednesday. Training Monday at 6pm only for this week.
Under 12
U12 Blue team played Newport last week and despite losing the girls tried hard but were unlucky for some more scores. Navy team played two games against Ballina and Silvermines. They had a hard fought draw with the Silvermines and are playing Toomevara this week.
