PRO: Enda O’Sullivan
Treasurer: Josephine Mackey

We wish to thank outgoing chairman Enda Costello who stepped down after many years of active service to the club.
Juvenile Medal Presentation
On Friday evening last in MacDonagh Park, our victorious juvenile hurling, camogie and Gaelic football teams were presented with their medals from the various competitions that they won in 2019. Strength and conditioning coach Darragh Droog spoke to the players about how they can improve their own performances and fitness levels by making some simple changes in their lives such as ensuring they get a proper night’s sleep.
Presenting the medals were All-Ireland senior hurling championship winners Barry Heffernan and Jake Morris along with Tipperary senior camogie and Gaelic football players Grace O’Brien and Callan Scully.
We wish to thank all of those who helped organise the evening, the parents/guardians, the panelists and their mentors along with our special guests on the night.
Santa Claus is coming to town….
In preparation for the big day, the big man Santa Claus made a visit to MacDonagh Park where he met all our young boys and girls and presented them with a small gift to reward them for their exemplary behaviour all year with Éire Óg.
We wish to thank Santa for taking time out of his busy schedule and to all who co-ordinated the visit with Fr. Christmas to ensure our juveniles had a wonderful time.
Tipperary V Clare
We wish to thank all our volunteers who helped make Sunday’s game between between Tipperary and Clare in the Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League such a success. Unfortunately, Clare won on a 1-19 to 2-17 scoreline.
Ireland Lights Up
The Ireland Lights Up initiative, in conjunction with the Operation Transformation and Get Ireland Walking has been hugely successfully over the past number of years with over 270 clubs and a total of 65,000 walkers taking part during 2019.
In a bid to walk off the turkey and make exercise more accessible on the darker nights, clubs across the 32 counties are turning on their floodlights and hosting community walking groups during the broadcast period of the hit RTÉ show.
If you would like to participate you are more than welcome to join us in our walks around the town from 7pm to 8pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening from MacDonagh Park.
