Healthy Club
On Saturday 9th Nenagh Éire Óg went on the move again, to Templemore Town Park this time, for Event 2 of the Healthy Club *November FIVE x FIVE Challenge.
Everyone was delighted with mild weather and the lakeside route and leafy trail through the woods. The townpark is steeped in history and participants loved _An Teampall Mór_ at the starting line and the stone archway at the finishing line.
A big thank you to Tom, Park Run Director, and all the volunteers for their hearty welcome and encouragement to our visiting group. It was great to hear that there are around 60 volunteers involved in the marshalling of this Parkrun from week to week. Fair play to them!
Well done to all who travelled from Nenagh to Templemore to take part. It’s great to see everyone motivated by getting fitter and getting to know new people. Everyone enjoyed the good coffee in *One19* too!
Event No. 3 takes place at Clarisford Park, Killaloe. Meet at 9.10am on Saturday 16th.
See Nenagh Éire Óg website and social media for registration details.
All are welcome to join in to walk, jog, run or support.
A great way to spend a Saturday morning!

Social Hurling
Another exciting game of social ground hurling was had by all on Tuesday night on the Astro pitch. The non-bibs just about emerged victorious with Suzy Whyte scoring a ‘hat-trick’.

U21
Our U21’s North Championship campaign came to an end on Sunday last. Final score Borris- ILeigh 2-16 Nenagh 1-13. Thanks to players and management for their hard work and commitment.
U17
Hard luck to the U17A football team who battled hard in their North Tipp final v Kilruane on Friday last.
Nenagh led for a large part of the game however, Kilruane edged back in front in the latter stage of the game but Nenagh pulled them back to a single point which proved to be the difference between the two sides in the end as Kilruane took the spoils
Camogie Notes
Minor
We played the final group game of our minor campaign against Mullinahone on Sunday in McDonagh Park.
Nenagh had most of the play in the first half, resulting in some fine scores by Grace Cleary, Saoirse Ryan and Carly Walsh. While Mullinahone could only field 13 players, they came with great spirit and managed to find the net twice in the first half to lead 2-3 to 0-8 at half time.
The Nenagh girls came out strong in the second half however, scoring two goals of their own – the first following a strong run from Grace Cleary, the second came from some great link-up play by the forwards and finished to the net by Ella O’Brien.
We now have a bye this weekend as we await our semi-final fixture.
AGM
