Healthy Club Schedule
This weeks schedule:
A massive well done to all our participants in the first of five Healthy Club Parkrun last Saturday. We got a great welcome at the Borrisokane Town ParkRun. Thanks to Greg and to all the volunteers for their support. It was the first time for many of us to participate in a Parkrun event and we’ve already got the bug! There is such super organisation and community effort behind these events, and all for free!
We look forward to our second event at the Templemore Parkrun this Saturday the 9th. Everyone is welcome to take part for their own enjoyment and to join in at whatever pace they want.
Just register for your barcode on Parkrun.ie and at the following link for the Nenagh Éire Óg November Challenge initiative:
Let’s keep our Club members, families, supporters, and our local community on the move for November 2024!

Flag Day
A Massive thank you to everyone involved in our flag day collection, helping us raise vital funds for the club.
U21
Our U21’s had great success in the group stages of the North Championship winning all of their games. On Sunday last they battled against the Silvermines and came out on top, thanks to three first half goals from Tauri Shayanewako, Sam O’ Farrell and Billy O’ Brien. The final score was 4-17 to 1-13. They now advance to the semi- final, which will be held on Sunday the 10th at 12pm in Nenagh. Best of luck to the team and management.
Tipperary
Billy O’ Brien and Jake Donnellan- Houlihan received their Munster and All Ireland medals last weekend after a successful year with the Tipperary Minor hurling panel.
Camogie Notes
Condolences
The club offers our deepest condolences to Dorothy Hackett (u12), her mother Maggie and all of the Smith family on the passing of Maggie’s father Donal. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam
Minor Camogie
Our minor campaign resumed on Sunday with an away game against Slieve Feilim in Kilcommon. Unfortunately, Slieve Feilim got the better of us on the day. Final score 2-15 to 4-5. Next up is a home game to Mullinahone at 2.30pm. We wish a speedy recovery to Tara McTiernan who took a heavy knock early on in the game and came off injured.
Adult Astro League
Our Astro league for adult Camogie will kick off on Friday evening at 8pm for the next 4 weeks. This is a social 5- a- side league aimed at keeping all active, and welcoming girls who may not have played for while, back into Camogie. Anyone interested can contact Tom on 0852023385 or Paul on 0860298118.
