Cardiac Screening – Dillon Quirke Foundation
Huge thanks to Dan and The Dillon Quirke Foundation for holding a pilot free Cardiac Screening programme on Saturday last in the Nenagh ÉireÓg complex.
45 of our juvenile boys and girls aged 12-18yrs were offered the professional services of AMS (Advanced Medical Services) and funded by the Foundation.
Cardiac screening can help identify underlying heart conditions that can lead to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome so it is vitally important to have that info. Feedback from parents and kids was that it was a really positive experience and all were very appreciative of the chance offered to them by the Dillon Quirke Foundation.

Congrats to Nenagh Éire Óg clubman Mike Ryan (Kaffir) who was elected to the position of North Board Vice Chairman at last Monday night’s North Board AGM.

Fitzgibbon 2 League Final
It was a mixed night for two of our senior hurlers in the Fitzgibbon 2 League Final on Tuesday night.
Congrats to Sean Phelan who captained the UL team to victory and commiserations to Mark Carey who was full back on the UCC team defeated in the final.

Tipperary Coiste na nÓg Medal Presentation
Tipperary Coiste na nÓg medal presentation took place over the weekend.
Well done to Billy O’Brien who was on the Tipperary U16B squad and to Shane Hennessy who was a mentor with this group.

Tipperary Camogie Development Squads
Well done to our Tipperary Camogie Development Players who collected their medals at the Presentation night on Saturday night last.
Lauren Grace (U14), Saoirse Ryan , Carly Walsh, Grace Cleary (all U14 & U15), Rhiannon Jones (U15), Niamh Boland & Clodagh Spain (U16) and Laura Nagle (U17) all collected medals on the night.
Well done to all the girls on their great achievements – Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie are very proud of our girls representing on the u14, u15, u16 & u17 Development Teams.
These players are a credit to the club and an inspiration for the younger players coming up behind them.
