Also at Co Convention there was good news for Conor O’Donovan’s motion re the handpass in hurling – this motion, submitted by Nenagh Éire Óg on behalf of Conor, was passed by Tipperary delegates and will now go to GAA Congress to be discussed.
The wording of Conor’s motion is outlined below, also a link to a short video Conor has put together showing the various other options for the handpass.
Dean Ryan Presentation
On Friday last, the medal presentation for the victorious Dean Ryan winning team took place in Nenagh CBS – well done to all the Nenagh Éire Óg boys involved and also Philip Hickey who was a member of the management team.

- Under 13A & B
However, despite having a strong wind behind us in the second half, we struggled to find any scores until the final few minutes. A 21 yard free was struck low and found the back of the net to level the scores with 7 minutes to go.
As the seconds ticked away, Rhiannon Jones got the ball in space on the 45 and stroked over what would be the winning point. Hard luck to St Cronan’s.
Final score: Nenagh 1-3 St. Cronan’s 0-5
We now look forward to the Co Final vs Kildangan next Sunday. Fixture TBC.
