Senior Hurling
Well done to our seniors who had a three point win over Toomevara in the North Quarter Final on Sunday evening last.
We have been drawn to play Templederry in the North semi final, this game will take place next Sat evening at 5pm in Cloughjordan.
Junior Hurling
Well done to our Junior As who defeated Borrisoleigh in Round 2 of the championship last weekend. The score was 1 – 10 to 5 points with Cian O Farrell getting the goal. Round 3 takes place on Fri next where we play Kilruane MacDonaghs in Toomevara at 7.30pm.
The Junior Bs will play their Round 3 game next weekend also, this is fixed for 12 noon on Sunday where they play Ballina in Ballina.
Condolences
We extend our sympathies to the Phelan and O’Connor families and to the Roscrea club on the sad passing of Fiona Phelan last week. Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam.
Scrap Metal Collection Fundraiser
The club’s annual scrap metal collection has been extended and items can now be dropped off from Mon to Fri this week (6pm – 9pm) and on Sat morning from 10am to 12. Posts on social media outline the items that can be dropped off – contact Shane at 087 63703830 with any queries.
Healthy Club Initiative – Boccia
Nenagh Éire Óg are running a pilot *Boccia* program for *past and retired members* of our club.

JUVENILE NEWS
Nenagh Éire Óg Summer Camp
The 2023 Nenagh Éire Óg Summer Camp will run from August 15th to 17th, Tuesday to Thursday, 10am to 1pm, €40 per child. Contact Niall on 087 4086439 to book.
Cúl Camp
The Cúl Camp for this summer is now taking enrolments, go to https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking to secure a place for your child.
Under 5
Training for under 5 boys is now underway on Saturday mornings at 10am on the club astro. Contact John on 087 1365053 to join up.
The under 5 group will have their first blitz against Silvermines on Saturday 22nd July at 10am in Nenagh.
Under 7
The Under 7 boys had a busy week this week, on Wednesday the boys played our Éire Óg Under 8 girls. It was great to work together and have some fun.
On Saturday morning the boys welcomed Toomevara for a blitz. Each team had four games and the boys really enjoyed it. Well done to everyone.
Training continues at 10 am on Saturday mornings at the club grounds. Mid week training is on Wednesday from 6 to 7.

Under 9
Training continues Tuesday evening 6-7.15pm and Saturday morning 10-11.15am.
We love to see new faces coming along, boys born in 2014/15 are very welcome to come and give it a try, contact Alan on 087 7518789.
Under 11
Under 11 boys played Holycross in two matches on Sunday morning last, the progress the boys are making was very evident with everyone performing really well.
There is a big program of games coming up so we look forward to these boys showing their skills and determination in the games.
Training continues on Tuesday from 6 for both hurling and football and then on Friday at 6 for hurling. All new boys are very welcome to come along and give it a try, contact Cathal on 086 0806460.
Under 13
Well done to our C team who had a well fought win over Shannon Rovers last Monday evening. The A & D panel played Kilruane last Tuesday evening and lost out in both games. On Tuesday evening the C team played Templederry away and the D team will play Kiladangan at home on Wednesday evening at 7pm.

Under 15
The U15s will play Toomevara at 7pm on this Thursday evening in MacDonagh Park. Training this week is on Tuesday.
Under 17
In teir opening game the U17s were defeated by Toomevara in Toomevara on Monday evening last.

The wind told in the second half and they knocked over 2 points straight away. Gortnahoe went then went 2 points ahead, but Lucyanne Cleary and Aisling Ryan both scored to put the sides back level.
Well done to all the Nenagh girls on a great effort and a very entertaining match. The Blue team will now progress to the Shield Final.
Training continues for all u12s Monday and Thursday 6pm.
