2025 All Star Jake Morris
Jake Morris Honoured with 2025 PwC All-Star Award
Tipperary’s Jake Morris has been recognised among the elite of the hurling world, receiving a prestigious PwC All-Star Award for his outstanding performances in the 2025 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship.
Morris, who played a pivotal role in Tipperary’s All-Ireland triumph alongside teammate Sam O’Farrell, helped the Premier County overcome Cork in last July’s final. The Nenagh Éire Óg forward scored in every championship match this season, earning widespread acclaim for his consistency and skill.
His stellar campaign has also seen him shortlisted for the coveted Hurler of the Year award. Earlier this summer, he was named RTÉ’s Sunday Game Hurler of the Year, capping off a remarkable season for both player and county.
Jake has become the second hurler from Nenagh Éire Óg to win an All Star following in the footsteps of Michael Cleary who won awards in 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993.
Morris’s performances are sure to inspire a new generation of hurlers from Nenagh and across Tipperary.
