Senior Notes
Our Junior A hurlers overcame Kilruane MacDonagh’s on a scoreline of 3-17 to 1-16 on Friday Night. They take on Borris-Iliegh in Templederry on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The club’s Minor hurlers are out next on Wednesday, August 3rd in Pukcane at 7:00 p.m when they take on Kilruane MacDonagh’s.
The club also would like to congratulate the Tipperary footballers on their magnificent victory over Derry to book a place in the All-Ireland Quarter Final, well done to all involved.
Best wishes to referee Dan D’Arcy for a speedy recovery from all at Nenagh Éire Óg.
Juvenile Club Notes
Under 6: U6 game this Saturday with Kilruane in Cloughjordan. Meeting at field at 9.30am and leaving at 9.40am for game at 10.15am.
Under 8: No training for the U8 this Wednesday ,we will see you all on Saturday. Also no football training on Tuesday.
Under 14: Hard luck to our U14 team who were beaten by Kilruane in the championship last Wednesday evening. Our final group game takes place this evening Wednesday at 6:30pm in Puckane with Kildangan providing the opposition.
Under 16: Our U16 hurlers defeated Kilruane in round 3 of the championship on Monday last on a scoreline of 3-18 to 0-12. We play Silvermines on this Monday night in Dolla in round 4. Report next week.
Camogie Club Notes
Under-10: We played in the county blitz on Saturday last and had a great day out. Thanks to organisers for organising the event. On Thursday evening we travel to Monaleen for a challenge game.
Under-12: We defeated Burgess Duharra and St Cronans Roscrea recently. Well done ladies. The girls will be playing Monaleen in Limerick on Thursday evening.
Tipperary: Well done to the Tipperary minors who have qualified for the Munster final where they will face Clare. Grace, Ruth, Hazel and Sarah are part of this panel. The same four girls along with Rachel Maher were part of the intermediate panel that defeated Laois in the championship.
In the under-16 A championship Wexford defeated Tipperary. Greg Browne was manager of this team while Niamh Sheridan and Caroline Browne were part of the panel. Meagan Grace, Maeve Hassett, Katie Morris and Lucy Spain were part of the county under-15 panel that played in the Clare blitz over the weekend. Well done girls from all at Nenagh Éire Óg
