Junior B Hurling League
Nenagh Éire Óg played their first game in the Junior B League last weekend against Portroe. The game ended in a draw, 1 – 9 each with Michael Hutchinson getting the Nenagh goal.
This group now play Borrisokane in Round Two – this game takes place on Friday evening at 7pm in MacDonagh Park.
Co Senior Hurling League
The seniors will play their final league game against Kilruane MacDonaghs next Sunday at 12pm in Nenagh.
Lotto
There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 11, 12, 17 & 27.

Éire Ógres
Our young Éire Ógres Stars were out in action on Saturday morning having tremendous fun in the glorious sunshine. The young girls and boys were beaming as they jumped, skipped, sprinted, threw and practiced catching on our wonderful new club astro facility.

We can’t wait for next Saturdays camp at 10am on the club astro.

Training continues at 10 am on Saturday mornings at the club grounds. All new boys are very welcome to come along and give it a try, contact Erica on 086 8774496.
Under 9
Training continues at 10 to 11.15 on Saturday mornings on the outside field. Mid week training is on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7.15 for football and hurling.

On Tuesday training for hurling at 6pm followed by football at 6.45. We will also have hurling training on Friday at 6pm.

Under 13
The U13A team played their county football semi final on Tuesday evening v Boherlahan.
A really enthralling game and a dogged effort to get beyond county semi final stage from the boys but unfortunately, it just wasn’t to be as Boherlahan took the spoils this evening. Good luck to Boherlahan in the county final.

U13A Football panel who were defeated by Boherlahan in the Co Football semi final on Tuesday evening.
Under 15
Following their win in the Féile football final the boys will progress to the national Féile competition on July 1st with Nenagh hosting.
On Thursday the boys played in the football North final v Ballina in Cloughjordan. A very tight game of football ensued in wet greasy conditions. Unfortunately Nenagh lost out by a goal so Ballina progress to the county stages. Well done to the Nenagh boys on a truely gallant effort, best wishes to Ballina in the county stage.
U15A Footballers who were defeated by Ballina in the North Final on Thursday evening last.
Under 17
The U17A boys played Kilruane in the Mid/North league in Cloughjordan on Monday evening last and lost out on a scoreline of 3 – 24 to 14 points.

CAMOGIE NEWS
Under 6
Our Éire Ógres continue this week on Saturday 13th at 10am.
Under 10
Our U10s enjoyed playing a host of North Tipp clubs on Sunday morning in Burgess. New girls always welcome to Eire Og Camogie, training every Monday at 6pm.

Under 12
Our blue team had a good win against Silvermines. Great heart and effort shown by the girls and some good scores.
Both Blue and Navy teams are playing Portroe and Ballina this week.
Training continues on Monday night 6pm.
Under 16
Well done to our u16 girls who gave a great team performance in MIC Camogie grounds in Thurles on Sunday evening to make it through to the County League final.
Playing against the wind in the first half, two well-taken goals from Saoirse Ryan and another from Lauren Grace saw us leading 3-3 to 0-3 at half time. We took full advantage of the wind in the 2nd half to finish 5-8 to 0-7.
Thanks to the large crowd who came to support us.
U16 girls who won their Co Semi Final on Sunday last.
The girls played Knockavilla Kickhams in the final yesterday evening and lost out by a goal – 3 – 5 to 2 – 5 – more to follow on this in next week’s notes
Tipperary Camogie
We had an extremely successful weekend for the Senior, Junior and u16A Tipperary teams winning all around them.
Nenagh Éire Óg’s Grace O’Brien was playing with the Senior Team in Páirc Uí Chaoimh & Rachel Maher was with the Junior Team in The Ragg Camogie Grounds.
We are very proud of our ladies representing their county.
Shed Raffle
We are holding a raffle for a beautiful 8x6ft Garden Shed on the 20th of May. This secure and sturdy shed will be delivered to the lucky winner’s home. Our players and committee members will be selling lines in the coming weeks.
