NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
We plan to hold our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, December 10th at 8pm. In line with Covid regulations and following Croke Park directives and guidelines, it will be a virtual meeting using Microsoft Teams. Further details and advice in advance of the meeting.
Nominations/Motions papers are available by contacting the Club Secretary at secretary.nenagheireog.tipperary@gaa.ie or alternatively text 086 0855165. Forms must be returned by 8pm on Thursday, November 19th. We are all advised by Croke Park that any matters that can wait, to make them wait and remain conservative – 2020 is not the year to consider contentious motions.
All reports will be made available in advance for deliberation virtually at the AGM on December 10th.

New Senior Hurling Manager/Coach
The club is delighted to announce that Knockavillla Kickham’s man Brian Horgan will be our senior coach/manager for 2021.
Brian comes with a wealth of experience following a very successful club and inter-county playing career. He played hurling for Tipperary at all levels won a Munster minor title in 1993 and an All-Ireland title as captain in 1995. Included on that panel were Nenagh Éire Óg players Kevin Tucker, Robbie Tomlinson and Declan O’Meara.

Community Lotto
Due to the regulations and guidelines outlined for Level 5 of the national Covid response, we at Nenagh Éire Óg are suspending our weekly lotto until December 7th at the earliest. Thank you to our loyal supporters and Lotto sellers. The health and well-being of our community is foremost in our thoughts at this time.

Camogie News
Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie Club AGM.
The Nenagh Éire Óg Camogie Club AGM will take place on Monday the 16th of November at 7:30pm. The meeting will take place on Zoom as a result of COVID 19 restrictions and senior club members have been issued with nomination papers, minutes and agenda by post last Friday. If any others wish to join the AGM please email secretary.nenagh.tipperary@camogie.ie for meeting details on Zoom.
If you wish to nominate someone for a role on the committee please email the secretary or complete the nomination paper and give it to any committee member. New members are always welcome on the committee.
Juvenile News
Under-10
Training for this group will continue every Friday evening under the new guidelines of non-contact and in groups of fifteen. Anyone who wishes to train is more than welcome, it is completely optional for the boys. Training will consist of skills work and fun activities. Training has been moved to Nenagh College on Friday nights from 7pm to 8pm. Please keep encouraging the boys to pick up the hurley at home and practice daily.
Under-14
Training will continue for the next few weeks in Nenagh College. Hurling is on Tuesdays and football on Thursdays.
Under-16
Under-16 football training resumes at Nenagh College each Friday night at 8 pm
Fixtures
All competitive games are suspended currently in light of the recent guidelines.
Other Business
Thank you to all the parents who encourage practicing of both codes at home, please continue to encourage the children to pick up the hurl or football and get a few minutes of practice in each day.
Please continue to follow the GAA and HSE Covid safety guidelines. A reminder to all that the Nenagh Éire Óg clubhouse is closed to all for the coming weeks. Stay safe everyone.
