Under-14
On Thursday evening last our under-14s overcame the challenge of Ballina in MacDonagh Park on a 1-9 to 0-2 scoreline with Josh McLoughlin getting the all important goal midway through the second half when he brilliantly fetched the ball from the heavens turned and unleashed a bullet to the back of the net. Indeed both sets of players were an absolute credit to their respective clubs afterwards with the sportsmanship on display as they went out of their way to shake hands with each other. Well done to both panels. We wish Filip McIntyre a speedy recovery from a knock he picked up in the match.
