In what can only be described as a thrilling encounter, our Senior hurlers fell short to Loughmore- Castleiney in round 3 of the County Championship. The final score was 2-20 to 1-21 to the opposition. This loss and Lorrha- Dorrha’s win resulted in a 2nd place finish and a spot in the County Quarter- Finals. Juvenile Notes

Camogie Notes
Eleanor Boland, Lauren Grace, Saoirse Ryan and Carly Walsh all played superb camogie on the day, with 3 of the girls reaching their final, in which they lost to Cork.
Intermediate
We played our first Intermediate championship game away to Moneygall on Saturday morning. This was a very young Nenagh team taking on a well-seasoned Moneygall team. While our girls fought hard from start to finish, Moneygall’s experience and finishing saw them take a big win.
Our next game is against Toomevara on Saturday in Puckaun at 8pm. Best of luck to players and management.
Minor
We played our second championship game against Roscrea in McDonagh Park on Monday evening. We dominated the game and led by 8 points with 10 minutes to go. A spirited comeback by Roscrea saw the game go into injury time with the sides level. However, the Nenagh girls had the final say, scoring 2 excellent points at the death to take the win.
Well done to all the girls and mentors. We now have a break from Minor until after the adult championships finish.
After 2 losses in a row for our U16’s, a big win was needed in their third Championship game, and that’s exactly what they got ! The girls took on Annacarthy yesterday with a superb team performance and came out victorious. Well done girls !
