Tipperary
Well done to Jake Morris on his Man of the Match performance in Tipp’s win over Waterford last weekend.
Jake scored a hat trick with his goals coming at crucial times in the game and he received the TG4 Man of the Match award for his fine performance. On the night when tributes were paid to the late Mick Burns and a minute’s silence was observed in his memory, it was fitting that Jake came away with this award.

Under 10
Training is back on the Club Astro at 6pm each Monday, new members are always welcome.
Under 14
Both of our under 14 teams began their respective championships with losses.
Our first team travelled to Boherlahan on Saturday where we came up against a very strong and skilful home side. Our girls battled all the way through but came away with a heavy defeat.
Team 2 made a very long trip to Ballylooby to play Brian Borus on Saturday evening. This is a young team who were facing much bigger opposition, but they didn’t take a backward step, blocking and tackling like demons. Borus were the stronger team however and took their scores well to run out easy winners.
Under 14 – Team 2 – Brian Boru Ballylooby
Both teams play next Sunday 19th. Team 2 are away to Holycross at 2pm, while Team 1 are at home to Slieve Felim at 5pm.
Training continues on Monday and Thursday 7-8pm.
