Camogie Notes
U16
We made the journey to Boherlahan grounds on Wednesday last to play Brian Boru Camogie in our championship semi-final. This was a hard-fought contest, played in dark and dismal conditions. The Nenagh girls got off to a bright start and despite playing against the wind in the first half, we came in at half time with a 1 point lead. 2-2 to 1-4. Nenagh slowly took control in the second half. Our backs found their rhythm and we took control of the game for the final 15 minutes. Final score Nenagh Éire Óg 2-10 Brian Borus 2-5.
We now play Toomevara in the County Final on Saturday, with throw in at 11am in The County Camogie Grounds, The Ragg. Wishing players and management the very best of luck. Tickets can be purchased in advance: https://tipperarycamogie.com/content_page/10082692

Our girls played their final blitz in the Patsy Carroll Memorial Tournament in Roscrea on Sunday morning. We had two teams and played three games each. We finished up on Monday evening with our end of year party in Tyone at midland gymnastics. Super effort all year by the girls, mentors and parents.
U8
The girls had their final blitz of the season on Saturday against the u7 NEÓ Boys. There were over 60 kids and all played very competitively in a really fun wrap up of the year. All girls received medals for their hard work and progression throughout the season. We will wrap up the year with a fun morning in Nenagh College on October 6th.
U6
Held their final session for 2024 and had super fun participating in Camoglympics.
The girls were presented with medals at the end of the session in recognition of the great effort and progress they made this season. The coaches are very proud of this group of players.
