Commiserations to our heroic under-16 hurlers who were narrowly defeated in an enthralling county final on Saturday afternoon – there is still plenty to look forward this week, however, with the senior hurlers in county semi-final action and the junior A Camogie team taking on Holycross in play-off with a place in the last four up for grabs. An exciting week ahead as our junior A Camogie team return to action and our under-16A hurlers are in semi-final action against Toomevara. Although our minor A hurlers lost out at the quarter-final stage last week the Éire Óg minor A Camogie team made a very encouraging start to their respective championship on Saturday. Our thoughts are with Shane Hennessy and the Tipperary minor hurlers this week as they prepare for Sunday’s All-Ireland final while we also salute our underage stars (and coaches) who adorned the inter-county stage with the Tipperary under-14, under-15 and under-16 teams last weekend.
