In 1964 Éire Óg bridged a seven-year gap when the Blues were crowned north Tipperary senior hurling champions following a great win over Roscrea at MacDonagh Park. The junior A hurlers are through to the north final as minor A team prepare to take on Toomevara in a semi-final fixed for Wednesday evening in Cloughjordan. A huge well done goes to Evan Murphy, Jake Morris, Mark O’Farrell, Conor Bonar and Adam Carey who represented Tipperary on their respective inter-county teams last weekend.
