The annual summer camp was held last week and miraculously it did not rain once. There was a bigger than usual turn out of boys and girls who were really well behaved and had a great time. Many thanks to David Minogue and the super coaches with special thanks to David Needham who has a unique talent in Games and Development coaching. The kids were engaged from start to finish of camp every day. We finished on a high note though with the arrival of Patrick ‘Bonner’ Maher on Friday afternoon. He is a wonderful ambassador for Tipperary hurling and happily signed autographs, stood in for photos and answered questions about shampoo! Many thanks, Bonner.
