HANDBALL
Pride of place this week goes to Eamonn Spillane and Gerry Foley (Ballinahinch) who won the Munster final of the Diamond Masters B Doubles competition on Saturday. Eamonn and Gerry will face Connacht opposition in the All-Ireland semi-final next March (date and venue TBC). We wish Eamonn and Gerry all the very best of luck going forward.
Well done also to Sinéad Meagher who took All-Ireland silver in the Junior Singles competition at the All-Ireland Colleges finals last weekend – Sinéad was representing St Mary’s Convent Secondary School and Tipperary.

JUVENILE
Juvenile Registration: Juvenile Registration will take place on Wednesday, February 19th (5.30-7pm) and on Saturday February 22nd (10am-12). The fees remain unchanged at €25 per player and €50 for two or more. There are also family membership deals available with more information on the club website. For insurance purposes unregistered players will not be allowed to compete in games. We will have a selection of subsidised hurleys and helmets (€35) for sale on the night or alternatively you can contact Shane Connolly on 087 637 3830.
National Club Draw: Nenagh Éire Óg are participating in the national club draw which features some sensational prizes like trips to Australia and the US – tickets are priced at €10 and parents are asked to support the club in this initiative. To promote the draw the juvenile club are also offering a package of a ticket and a subsidised Nenagh Éire Óg beanie hat at €15 for both – this offer will be available during registration. Mouth Guards: Mouth guards are compulsory for all football games and training sessions for teams and squads since January 1st 2013. Mouth guards are available in most sports shops and players will not be allowed to participate in games or training without one. For more information on mouth guards please refer to the GAA website, www.gaa.ie.
CAMOGIE
Training: Most of our teams are back training at this stage. If any player is unsure of when training takes place please contact your manager as soon as possible. All players are reminded that they will not be allowed train or play with the club unless they have been registered.
National draw: We are currently selling tickets for the GAA National Draw and tickets are available from all committee members at €10. This is an important fundraiser for the club and we ask all members and supporters to please purchase a ticket.
Volunteers: if you would like to volunteer to help out in the club in any way please email eireognenagh@gmail.com. We are always looking for new people to get involved in coaching, playing and administrative roles and everyone is more than welcome.
