Nenagh Éire Óg prepare for a county minor B Camogie final replay against Cashel Camogie club.
SENIOR
Sympathies: The club was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Fr Alec Reid. Fr Alec was an excellent hurler who played for Nenagh CBS and the old St Mary’s club in the town as well as the Tipperary minor hurlers. He won a North Tipperary minor title in 1947 before joining the priesthood where he went on to play a huge role in the peace process in Northern Ireland. We extend our sympathies to his family and friends.
Dr Harty Cup: Congratulations to the Nenagh CBS team which beat Dungarvan CBS (0-14 to 0-9) in the final round of this year’s Dr Harty Cup on Wednesday last. Unfortunately Nenagh CBS did not qualify for the quarter-finals on this occasion.
CAMOGIE
Minor: The replay of the county minor B final takes place this Sunday, December 1st at 12.30pm in The Ragg. This will be the last Camogie game the club will be involved in this year and we ask all members and supporters to please go to the match and support the management and players who have trained extremely hard for this competition.
Presentation Night: All our successful teams from this year will be presented with their medals on Friday, December 6th in The Complex. We look forward to seeing all our mentors, players and their parents there on the night. Please note we had to change this presentation from its original date due to circumstances beyond our control.
AGM: The club’s AGM will be held on Wednesday, December 4th at 7.30pm in MacDonagh Park. Nomination papers will be out next week. If you are interested in a position within the club please inform Denise Morris as soon as possible.
Volunteers: We are always looking for new people to get involved in the club and if you would like to contribute to the growth of Camogie in terms of administration, coaching, playing or in any other way please email eireognenagh@gmail.com.
