Éire Óg prepare for Munster minor hurling championship

Nenagh Éire Óg minor hurlers prepare to participate in the inaugural Munster minor hurling championship at Dr Morris Park, Thurles.

Nenagh Éire Óg – 2013 county minor A hurling champions.The Nenagh Éire Óg minor hurlers, back-to-back Tipperary county champions, are this week preparing to participate in the inaugural Munster Minor Club Finals at Dr Morris Park, Thurles. The tournament takes place on Saturday, November 2nd.

The participating hurling clubs are: Nenagh Éire Óg (Tipperary champions), Causeway (Kerry), Blackrock (Cork), Doon (Limerick), De La Salle (Waterford) and a nominated Clare representative.

For the tournament full GAA rules will apply. However, games will last for a 20-minute per half duration. The tournament will be played off on the basis of two groups of three with the winner of each group progressing to the final. At 10.15am on Saturday, November 2nd the draw will take place while the rounds of games are scheduled for 11am, 12 noon, 1pm and 2pm (final).
