Membership
All families are asked to complete registration with www.Foireann.ie as soon as possible if you haven’t done so already. Details of how to complete this process have been shared via the various juvenile WhatsApp groups. Your co operation in getting these registrations complete as soon as possible is greatly appreciated and will be required in order to complete your childs’ Covid self certification for return to play.
Membership should have been paid by May 31st to ensure that your child is covered by insurance. For Covid reasons we ask that any overdue membership being paid is put into an envelope, family details written thereon and handed to the lead coach at the training session.
Return To Play
We would ask all parents/guardians to observe and co-operate with all the Covid protocols that will be in place in order to ensure a safe training environment for your children and family. Training slots – days and times have been issued on the various WhatsApp groups, welcome back and enjoy!
Please encourage the boys to practice when they can, we understand that motivation may have been a challenge during the lockdown and are mindful of same as training ramps up. Challenge matches will commence soon which will bring a whole new dynamic to each groups development & progression.
We hope to link in with some of the NEO senior hurling team in the coming weeks and leverage their experience from when they were juvenile hurlers and how they developed their skills and passion for our games.
It’s a very exciting time for the club with huge developments taking place in the field at present. The physical changes around the club grounds were visible to all who returned to play last week. These changes are the initial stages of the development work and indeed the footprint of the new hurling wall and astro pitch are clear to be seen. We will all be looking on in eager anticipation of the progress that will be made over the coming weeks. Remember to transfer your donations and let your funding representative know you have done so for receipt issuing purposes.
CAMOGIE NEWS

Under 14s/Under 16s
The Under 14s played their first game of the season Roscrea in McDonagh Park on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. Nenagh played with the wind in the first half but it was Roscrea who took the initiative and led 1-1 to 0-0 at half time. The Nenagh girls fought hard and held Roscrea scoreless in the 3rd quarter, but the wind told in the final quarter and Roscrea won out 1-5 to 0-0. This was a big step up from Div C to B1, but the girls didn’t take a backward step. The backs especially were immense and deserve great praise for their efforts.
Training for u14s and u16s continues on Thurs evening. Please note change of time to 6pm due to match on inside field.
