Junior
Well done to our Junior B hurlers who recorded their first win of the League with a 3 – 13 to 1 – 17 win over Portroe last Saturday evening in MacDonagh Park. David Cleary scored two first half goals with Brian Duffy getting the third just before half time. This was the final group game so next up for this group will be the Junior B Championship which starts on 18th June – details to follow on this.
The date for the start of the Junior A Championship is now 3rd June – the draw for this will take place during the week.

Lotto
There was ONE winner of this week’s lotto jackpot – Congratulations to John Corbett, 22 Sallygrove who won our biggest ever lotto jackpot of €10,200. The winning numbers were 2, 7, 11 & 22.
Next week’s lotto Jackpot will be €2,100. As our lotto continues weekly we thank everyone for your continued support of the lotto. If you have not yet joined our lotto or if your ticket has recently expired, please consider signing up again – it is our main fundraiser and contributes enormously to the day to day running of the club.
The lotto can either be played online using the link below or lotto tickets are available from any committee member – this includes the option to enter for multiple draws.

Our Community Friendly lotto was launched in June 2020 and since then we have donated €4,500 of our lotto funds to local charities so when you play our lotto you are also supporting local charities.
Membership
Membership for 2022 is now due and can be paid through Foireann.ie. Any queries on this please contact Enda Long at 087 221 3954. Membership can also be paid to Enda Long or any Committee member. With games now resumed for all groups players should ensure that their membership is up to date.

Nenagh Éire Ógres
Our 2022 Ógres camp continued last Saturday morning, the glorious sunshine was out at Nenagh Éire Óg making for a fabulous morning for all the new girls and boys to enjoy the camp where the children relished in loads of fun games and obstacle challenges.
The camp continues at 10am next Saturday morning at the new astro facility in MacDonagh Park Nenagh, it’s not too late to join so we look forward to seeing you there. Camp details for anyone who would like to come along as below:
Calling all boys born in 2017 and girls born in 2016 or who have turned 5, we would be delighted to see you at our Éire Ógres camp. Ógres camp begins Saturday 14th of May at 10 am at the new Nenagh Éire Óg astro facility. The camp will run for four weeks. There will be lots of fun games and activities to start your little ones Saturday mornings off on a great note. Free t- shirt on the last day for all who participate. No hurls or helmets needed. €10 to register.

Under 7
Under 7 boys played their first blitz of the year against Toomevara on Saturday morning in MacDonagh Park. The boys had a great morning’s fun and played brilliantly. Thanks to Toome for making the trip over to Nenagh.
New players are always welcome, come and have a go. We always like to see new faces so any boys born in the years 2015/16 please come along on Saturday mornings from 10-11am.

Under 9
Our Under 9 boys made the trip to Templemore on Saturday morning to play JK Bracken’s. Three teams from each club were in action. The boys showed some great skills and determination during the matches. Well done to the boys and coaches, super work!
Hurling training continues on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 on the outside field. Football training continues on Wednesday evenings from 5.45 to 7 p.m on the outside field. New boys born in 2013 and 2014 are always welcome to join.

Under 9 teams who played JK Brackens in Templemore at the weekend
Under 11
Our Under 11’s travelled to Dolla on Thursday evening last to play Silvermines. Two teams from each club played two competitive games with the Nenagh boys finishing strongest.
Congratulations to Ruaidhrí, Ewan & Pierce from our group who were playing rugby in the Aviva last weekend, well done boys.
This week training will be football only on Tuesday evening, no training on Friday evening with the Michael Hogan Festival of Football on Saturday.
The Michael Hogan festival of football details will circulate during the week on the group text, two teams being entered, one team will play in Durlas Óg and one in Cashel.
New players born in 2011 and 2012 are welcome to come along and give it a try. Contact 0874086439 for more details.

Under 13
Under 13 boys played a challenge match v Adare on Sunday morning.
Training on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.
Under 15
With attention now switching to hurling, training continues on Tuesdays from 7-8pm, Thursday evenings at 6pm and Saturday 3 to 4pm.
Under 17
U17/19 training continues every Monday and Wednesday at 6.50 pm. The boys played Roscrea in the Mid/North Hurling League on Monday evening last.
