Junior Football
Junior B Football panel and mentors following their North Final win at the weekend.
Well done to our Junior Footballers who won the North Junior B Football Final on Saturday last in Nenagh. They defeated Shannon Rovers on a score-line of 2-8 to 1-5 with Adam Healy scoring both our goals, one from the penalty spot. Captain James Mackey accepted the cup after the game from North Board secretary Philip Delaney. The footballers are now preparing for a Co Semi final against mid champions Clonakenny – this game is due to be played on Sunday 14th Nov.

**An interesting snippet following the Junior B football win at the weekend is that Lenny Ryan, who was on the panel on Saturday, has a unique collection of North Tipperary adult football medals having won Senior (1998), Intermediate (1997), Junior-A (2010) and Junior-B (2021) titles with the club. Surely Lenny is out on his own with this great achievement!!
Junior Hurling
Hard luck to our Junior A hurlers who lost out in the Co Semi Final to Holycross on Sunday last in Dolla. In tough conditions, in particular in the second half, the lads fought to the very end, grabbing two late goals to keep the game alive to the final whistle. The score in the game was 2-13 to 1-18 with Donnacha Quinn and Cian O’Farrell getting the goals. Thanks to this group of players for their commitment and for the enjoyment they gave us throughout the year. Thanks also to Ger McCarthy and his management team for all their work with the group.
Timber and Turf Auction
We held our first Timber & Turf Auction last weekend which proved to be a great success. Over 30 trailers of timber and turf were auctioned off on Saturday, thanks to all who donated the timber for this. Thanks also to everyone who helped out both in the lead in to Saturday and on the day itself. Finally a big thank you to our auctioneers William Talbot and Michael Gilmartin who did a great job on the day.
Both the timber auction and draw were a One Club initiative, with all three clubs, Senior, Juvenile and Camogie coming together to organise a very successful fundraiser where all clubs benefitted. Well done to everyone who contributed to it’s success.

Lotto
The lotto has always been one of our main fundraisers and with our current club developments it is of great importance to us now that everyone continues to row in behind our lotto and we continue to increase the Nenagh Éire Óg online club lotto subscriptions. We are asking our juvenile families and supporters to play our club lotto online. It costs just €2 per week to play safely online and there are different payment plans available.
