Junior-B Football
Our junior footballers were supposed to play their first game of the 2020 campaign on Sunday against Loughmore Castleiney in the county league but unfortunately due to the recent weather the pitch was unplayable. Training will continue this Saturday at 5pm in Nenagh College and all are welcome. Newcomers are more than welcome.
Tipperary
Congratulations to Jake Morris, Barry Heffernan and the Tipperary seniors on their 0-24 to 2-16 win over Waterford in Semple Stadium on Sunday in the league. They play Galway in Salthill on Sunday next.

Senior
Well done to the seniors who got off to a winning start in their first outing of the season. In the first round of the Senior Camogie League, Nenagh beat Annacarty by one point on a scoreline of 4-5 to 1-13 at MacDonagh Park. The Nenagh goals were scored by Caroline Browne, Grace O’Brien, Emer Ryan and Maeve Coffey.
Well done to Hazel McAuliffe and the Tipperary intermediates on their win against Dublin at the weekend.
Under-16
Under-16 training takes place every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7pm Nenagh.
Under-14
Under-14 training will continue this week Thursday evening 6:00 to 7:00.
Under -12
The under-12s will continue to train once a week on Tuesday evenings until conditions improve and under-12s can join the under-14s on Thursday evenings.
Éire Ógres
What a great start to the Camogie Éire Ógres 2020! The hall was full of lots of happy faces enjoying all the fun activities, a lovely experience for all! Thanks to all the parents who helped out coaching, with 52 girls taking part your help is very much appreciated. Any other parents that are available next week might also help. If any other girls born in 2012, 2013, 2014 or 2015 would like to join us next week they are very welcome to come along and register. 2020 Challenge
Well done to all of those who have remained committed the Get Fit for 2020 challenge as we enter week seven. Any member is still welcome to come and join us for the circuits on Tuesdays at 6pm and running on Thursdays at 6.30pm. If the pitch is too wet we will go around the town. Please wear a high-vis jacket.

Éire Ógres
The Éire Ógres returned this Saturday with almost 40 boys coming to MacDonagh Park, many of them for the first time. The focus was on hand-eye coordination, fundamental movement and agility while the boys thought they’re only having fun. Continues next Saturday from 10am and new boys are always welcome. No hurleys or helmets required, the focus will be on hand-eye coordination, fundamental movement and agility while the boys think they’re only having fun! Free tea/coffee/scones for parents and siblings so don’t rush the breakfast. Cost is €10 for the month and all will be awarded with a training T-shirt on the final morning. Membership
Membership is now due. Forms are with mentors and may be returned to them at training. It remains €30 for the year with family options available.
Volunteering
Volunteers needed for the juvenile hospitality committee. Please give your name to any group mentor. All help appreciated.
Under-8
Training continued on Saturday morning at Nenagh College with a big effort again from the boys. Please encourage the boys to keep practicing at home. Training continues next Saturday morning at 11am and new players are always welcome.
Under-10
Training continues every Saturday morning at 10am at the hurling wall in Nenagh College. New players are welcome any week.
Under-12
Hurling training Monday 6pm-7pm and Friday 7pm-8pm. Football training Wednesday 6pm-7pm. All in Nenagh College.
Under-14
The under-14s are scheduled to face Ballina in the Feile Peil next Saturday in Ballina at 4pm after being postponed last week due to inclement weather. Football training Monday 7pm to 8pm in Nenagh College and hurling Wednesday 7pm to 8pm in the hurling alley.
