2020 Membership<\/h2>\n
<\/div>\n

Club membership for 2020 is now open with four great options to suit everyone’s needs. Membership entitles you to access to our facilities as well as voting rights at our AGM and cover under the GAA injury benefit fund.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

All players are reminded that they will not be allowed play for or train with the club without paying their membership.<\/p>\n

Juvenile AGM<\/h2>\n
<\/div>\n

The Juvenile AGM will take place on Friday, January 17th at 8pm in the Complex and all parents, coaches and interested parties are invited to attend.<\/p>\n

Get fit for 2020 Challenge with Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Camogie<\/h2>\n

The camogie club have announced details of a fantastic initiative to help people with their New Year’s fitness goals with a series of circuit and running sessions which will culminate in a 5km run on March 24. For more details on this amazing offer to our community please click here.<\/a><\/p>\n

Operation Transformation<\/h2>\n

The 2020 Tipperary Sports Partnership Operation Transformation 5km walks will begin on Saturday, January 18th, from the Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Complex. The walk starts at 11 am and everyone is welcome to take part. All participants must sign in on that morning prior to walk. To kick start our new year in the club our Juvenile teams will lead the walk with their management teams.<\/p>\n

\nOur mid-week walks continues on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from MacDonagh Park and they commence at 7pm. New walkers are welcome to join on both evenings or just one evening a week. All levels of fitness are catered for and you can walk at your own pace. Just sign in on the evening of your choice from 6.50pm with the walk beginning at 7pm. Why not bring a friend along and chat throughout your walk?<\/p>\n

Commiserations to Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g’s Megan Grace, joint captain of St Mary\u2019s Nenagh and her team mates who lost out to St. Mary\u2019s Midleton in the Munster Senior B Camogie Final on Saturday in Puckane on a scoreline of 2-18 to 1-4.<\/p>\n

Nenagh Handball Club had a fantastic day on Saturday, winning a number of North Tipperary championships. <\/p>\n

\nCassandra Jones was runner up in the under-14 singles, while Emmet Jones and partner Stephen McNamara captured the under-13 doubles. Billy O’Brien won the under-13 championship and Kevin Liston was runner up in the under-14 singles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Congratulations to Barry Coffey who signed a new contract with soccer club Celtic FC that will keep him at the Scottish giants until the summer of 2022. <\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

In a statement Celtic FC commented that “Coffey\u2019s hard work in Tommy McIntyre\u2019s reserves last campaign saw him called up to the Scottish champions\u2019 pre-season training camp in Austria and Switzerland in June. There, he played for the senior side for the first time against SC Pinkafeld.<\/p>\n

In the weeks that followed, Coffey represented his country at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, and is now determined to work hard to keep himself in Neil Lennon\u2019s wider plans at club level.  <\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Speaking at Celtic Park, Coffey said: \u201cI\u2019m over the moon and it\u2019s nice to finally get the new deal over the line. I\u2019m delighted and it\u2019s nice to celebrate the hard work over the last two years that\u2019s led to this point. Now, I can\u2019t wait to get to work and continue to prove my worth at this great club.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

\u201cAt the start of the season, it was an unreal experience to be involved with the first team and to play a few games in Austria. And then I was away with Ireland U-19s at the Euros, which was another fantastic experience. Now, I\u2019ll work as hard as I can at Celtic, and can hopefully catch the gaffer\u2019s eye again.\u201d<\/p>\n
