From his roles as one of the founding members of the club lotto and one of the key men involved in the formation of the Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g juvenile club in the early 1980s. Rory served as adult Club Chairman from 1999 to 2003. More recently, he represented the club at County Board level. One of the club\u2019s greatest supporters, Rory hardly ever missed a club or county game of any kind.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p>The Flannery family have long been associated with the Nenagh Eire \u00d3g club and Rory was first and foremost a family man to whom he was so dedicated and of whom he was so proud.&nbsp; We have all suffered a great loss, so how much greater must be the loss to his own family and extended family to whom is offered our deepest sympathy.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Funeral arrangements are as follows:&nbsp;<em>Reposing in Ryan&#8217;s Funeral Home, Nenagh, this Sunday from 4 o&#8217;c to 7 o&#8217;c. Remains arriving to St. Mary&#8217;s of the Rosary Church, Nenagh, on Monday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Lisboney New Cemetery.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p>As a mark of respect, the club will be closed on Monday 12<sup>th<\/sup> November and this week\u2019s lotto draw has also been cancelled.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p><em>Ar dheis D\u00e9 go raibh a hanam d\u00edl\u00eds<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Rory Flannery yesterday.
