\u00c9ire \u00d3g enjoyed a four-point win (0-20 to 2-10) over Ballingarry in the County Senior Hurling Cup at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on Sunday afternoon, March 24th.<\/p>\n

Despite playing into an absolute gale in the opening half \u00c9ire \u00d3g led 0-10 to 0-7 at the break with Kevin Tucker accounting for 0-6 of the Nenagh tally.<\/p>\n

Some fine attacking play in the opening ten minutes of the second half helped \u00c9ire \u00d3g into a 0-15 to 0-8 lead.<\/p>\n

Ballingarry, however, struck back with two goals in the 43rd and 45th minutes to cut the deficit to the very minimum (0-15 to 2-8).<\/p>\n

\u00c9ire \u00d3g closed out the game impressively however out-scoring the visitors 0-5 to 0-2 in the final quarter of this encounter.<\/p>\n

\u00c9ire \u00d3g have been drawn against Kilruane MacDonagh\u2019s in the semi-finals of the Dr Fogarty Cup – date\/venue TBC. Burgess take on Clonoulty-Rossmore in their respective semi-final.<\/p>\n
