This year we are partnering with Kilruane MacDonagh&#8217;s hurler Seamus Hennessy who is aiming to raise \u20ac200,000 for Pieta House by running the Antarctic Ice Marathon. This is a remarkable achievement for Conor considering the amount of club football he plays compared to others who were hoping to be included. Cian O&#8217; Farrell helped himself to 1-1 from centre-forward before dropping deep late on to help out the defence while Se\u00e1n Phelan had a superb game at wing-back. Jake Morris was introduced as a second half substitute and was very unlucky to see a shot ricochet off the Town End goal post which would have been a fantastic goal. Preparations will now begin in earnest for the North Tipperary senior hurling semi-final against Kiladangan which is expected to take place in the final weekend in July.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<h3>Junior-A<\/h3>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Our junior-A championship game against Knockshegowna last week was postponed after Knockshegowna sought a postponement. Newport, Sean Treacy&#8217;s, Ballinahinch and Thurles Gaels took part. Huge thanks to Newport for having us and we look forward to a return visit over the summer.
