Please read on for all the latest news, photos, reports and fixtures!<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>SENIOR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Senior:<\/strong> On Sunday afternoon Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g battled their way into the Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Hurling Championship final thanks to an extra-time win over a fantastic Drom &#038; Inch team at Semple Stadium, Thurles (1-20 to 2-16). For a match report please see the club <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nenagheireog.com\/index.php\/nenagh-eire-og-edge-a-thrilling-semi-final-clash-with-drom-inch\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the county senior hurling final Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g will face defending champions Thurles Sarsfields on Sunday, October 25th in Semple Stadium, Thurles. In their respective semi-final Thurles Sarsfields beat Kilruane MacDonagh\u2019s on a 2-20 to 1-17 scoreline.<\/p>\n<p>The lads are working hard in their efforts to represent the town, their club, their families and themselves to the very best of their ability and would appreciate your support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Training Fund:<\/strong> A senior hurling team training fund has been established to defray some of the inevitable expenses associated with the preparation for the county final. Any support would be greatly appreciated. Please contact any club officer for details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-21A:<\/strong> The under-21A hurling team will face Roscrea in the opening round of this year\u2019s championship. The fixtures schedule for that competition have not been released as of yet. This year the under-21A hurling team will be managed by Greg Browne (manager), Con Morris and Michael McNamara. The 2015 Walsh\u2019s of Nenagh North Tipperary Under-21A Hurling Championship will be run on a knock-out-loser\u2019s-group system. \u00c9ire \u00d3g have been drawn against Roscrea in the opening round. Kilruane MacDonagh\u2019s will face Ballina in a preliminary round game while the remaining first round games will see Kildangan face the winner of the Kilruane versus Ballina game and Toomevara take on Newport Gaels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Night at the Dogs:<\/strong> Tickets are now on sale now for the combined juvenile and Camogie club \u2018Night at the Dogs\u2019 club fundraiser on Saturday, November 21st at Thurles Greyhound Stadium. Tickets are priced at \u20ac10 and are available from all committee members.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>LOTTO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There was no winner of last week\u2019s lotto jackpot of \u20ac3,800. Thank you to the mentors, parents and especially the players for their dedication all year. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-10:<\/strong> Well done to the boys on winning the Kilcotton Tournament on Saturday. Training is changing this week with no hurling on Wednesday. The boys will be taking part in the club winter programme. Running at Nenagh Athletic track on Tuesday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and strength and conditioning in the complex at 6.30pm for under-10s and under-12s. \u20ac2 covers both sessions. More on Kilmacud trip from mentors during the week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-13:<\/strong> Kilruane have kindly invited us to participate in their end of season tournament on October 31st.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-14:<\/strong> Well done to the under-14 hurlers who beat the Silvermines in the Ballina Tournament on Saturday last. We play Borris-Ileigh in the next round this weekend. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Winter Programme:<\/strong> The strength and conditioning winter programme kicks off on Tuesday, October 13th from 7.30pm to 8.30pm in the running complex. Strength and conditioning for under-14 and under-16 hurlers is on Thursdays from 7pm to 7.45pm in the complex and these boys need to bring a broom handle to training. \u20ac2 covers both sessions. All players are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Night at the Dogs:<\/strong> Tickets are on sale now for the &#8216;Night at the Dogs&#8217; club fundraiser on Saturday, November 21st at Thurles Greyhound Stadium. Tickets are \u20ac10 and are available from all committee members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Congratulations:<\/strong> Congratulations to the senior hurlers on reaching the county final from all of your youngest supporters in the juvenile club. <\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>NENAGH HANDBALL CLUB<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Best of luck to Sin\u00e9ad Meagher who will contest the girls under-16 Singles All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday in Lahorna against Connacht opposition. Eimear Meagher will also take on a girl from the west in the girls under-15 singles All-Ireland semi-final during the same programme of events which will begin at 12 noon.<\/p>\n<p>Hard luck to Eamonn Spillane and Martin Kelly (Lahorna) who lost out in a very close All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>CAMOGIE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior A:<\/strong> Our junior side had a superb victory over Holycross-Ballycahill Camogie Club on Saturday afternoon in the championship play-off winning on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-5. This win sees us through to the county semi-final where we will face our neighbours Kildangan. This game is expected to take place this weekend.
