The photo was taken by John Daly &#8211; you can find several more terrific shots <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/133982649@N03\/shares\/sRd7t7\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/em><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>SENIOR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Congratulations:<\/strong> Well done to D\u00e1ire Quinn who played on the Tipperary intermediate team which lost to Limerick on Sunday and to Barry Heffernan who was a member of the victorious Tipperary senior team match day squad at P\u00e1irc na nGael, Limerick.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dermot Earley Initiative:<\/strong> During the October mid-term break \u00c9ire \u00d3g will be running a Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Initiative for members of the club between the ages of fifteen and eighteen. This unique programme aims to foster a new generation of young Irish leaders. All participants who complete the course will be awarded a certificate in Youth Leadership and Community Action from the National University of Ireland, Galway. The deadline for applications is July 5th &#8211; there are only fifteen places available so early applications are advisable. More information on the programme is available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gaa.ie\/community\/app\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Dermot-Earley-Youth-Leadership-Leaflet-2015.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Senior:<\/strong> Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g booked their place in the final of the Dr Fogarty Cup thanks to a recent win over Lorrha-Dorrha. On Friday evening Mullinahone enjoyed a 3-13 to 1-14 victory over Burgess in their corresponding semi-final. \u00c9ire \u00d3g last appeared in the Dr Fogarty Cup final in 2013 when the Blues lost after a replay to Burgess. The final of the Dr Fogarty Cup is expected to take place in the coming weeks. The Blues will not return to championship action until the respective divisional championships reach a conclusion &#8211; \u00c9ire \u00d3g have already qualified for the last sixteen of the Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Hurling Championship. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior A: <\/strong>The Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g junior A hurlers got their championship campaign off to an encouraging start at Dolla on Saturday evening when Noel Maloney\u2019s winning point brought an entertaining encounter to a dramatic conclusion (1-17 to 2-13). The Watch Centre North Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship will be run on a two-group system with the top team in each group progressing to the semi-finals and the second and third teams qualifying for the quarter-finals. Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g, the defending champions, have been drawn in group one alongside Kildangan, Kilruane MacDonagh\u2019s, Silvermines and Burgess. Meanwhile group two will feature Toomevara, Borris-Ileigh, Roscrea, Knockshegowna and Templederry. This year the team is managed by Cian Tucker (manager), Mark Long, John Paul King and Paddy Flynn. The Watch Centre Junior B Hurling Championship will be run on a two-group system with the top team in each group progressing to the semi-finals and the second and third teams qualifying for the quarter-finals. Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g have been drawn in group two alongside Ballina, Portroe, Borrisokane, Toomevara and Lorrha-Dorrha. Meanwhile group one features Silvermines, Newport, Shannon Rovers, Kildangan, Moneygall and Borris-Ileigh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minor A:<\/strong> The first round of games in the Ger Gavin-sponsored North Tipperary minor A hurling championship is expected to be played on Wednesday, July 1st or Thursday, July 2nd. John Manley&#8217;s Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g team have been drawn in group one alongside Roscrea, Newport Gaels, Borris-Ileigh and Portroe. Many thanks to the visitors!<\/p>\n<p>Under-8 and under-10 training continues as normal with more matches being planned.<\/p>\n<p>The under-12 hurling championship continues this weekend with Nenagh Group D at home to Portroe. Please check website as date not finalised. Group A will be back in action the following week.<\/p>\n<p>The under-14 hurlers had a good 3-6 to 3-3 win over Kildangan on Wednesday night while on Monday evening the lads beat Kilruane MacDonagh\u2019s 1-12 to 1-5. Keep up the good work.<\/p>\n<p>Our under-16 hurlers kick off their championship on Monday, June 29th against Kilruane at 7pm in Cloughjordan. Please come out to support the lads!<\/p>\n<p>Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g&#8217;s annual summer camp will be held from Monday, July 20th to Friday, July 24th (2pm to 5pm). We played three matches against Rathnure (Wexford), Murroe-Boher (Limerick) and Craughwell (Galway). We defeated Rathnure and just fell short in the other two games. We wish to thank the entire panel of players for the exemplary manner in which they represented the club and to the mentors and parents who travelled to Galway. Their help and support is greatly appreciated by the club.
