Kildangan will now progress to face the Templederry Kenyons in the next round while Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g will take on Boherlahan-Dualla who lost to Ballingarry (1-8 to 1-17) in the opening round of this year\u2019s competition. For a report on the Kildangan game please see the club <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nenagheireog.com\/index.php\/kildangan-too-strong-for-eire-og-on-opening-day\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>County Championship:<\/strong> The schedule of matches for the forthcoming Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Hurling Championship were confirmed last week by the CCC &#8211; in the opening round \u00c9ire \u00d3g will face the Templederry Kenyons, then Ballina and, finally, Clonoulty-Rossmore during the group stage of this year\u2019s championship. The structure of the season would suggest that \u00c9ire \u00d3g will face Toomevara in the opening round of the Hibernian Inn North Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship in May prior to the third round of the county senior hurling championship. The club will confirm the dates, times and venues for those encounters as soon as they become available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Congratulations:<\/strong> Well done to Barry Heffernan and Donnacha Quinn who won the Fresher\u2019s All-Ireland hurling title with the University of Limerick at Mallow on Thursday, March 5th. UL, managed by Limerick\u2019s Gary Kirby, beat University College Cork after extra-time on a 1-24 to 1-18 scoreline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good Luck: <\/strong>Best wishes to Tommy Heffernan and D\u00e1ire Quinn who feature on the University of Limerick team which faces the Waterford Institute of Technology in the replayed Fitzgibbon Cup final on Wednesday, March 11th (7.30pm) in P\u00e1irc U\u00ed Rinn, Cork. The drawn final at P\u00e1irc na nGael, Limerick ended in a thrilling 3-12 to 0-21 stalemate after extra-time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anniversary Mass:<\/strong> The month\u2019s mind mass in honour of the recently deceased Brian Gubbins will take place at the St Mary of the Rosary Church, Nenagh on Sunday, March 15th at 12.15pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Newsletter:<\/strong> The February edition of the club newsletter is now available to download. Pictured are the under-14 north Tipperary team which is also managed by Shane Connolly. The under-14 team featured the Blues\u2019 Conor Hennessy, Se\u00e1n Phelan, Gavin Dooley and Liam Heffernan. The under-14 team faced Clare and won by five points.<\/em><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>JUVENILE<\/p>\n<p>Under-6 &#038; 8:<\/strong> Saturday training continues at 10am. The juvenile club will also welcome Dublin\u2019s Kilmacud Crokes to Nenagh on Sunday where they will play our under-9 team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-10:<\/strong> Under-10 training resumes this Saturday at 10am. New players welcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-12:<\/strong> Full attendance required at training on Monday and Wednesday at 5pm. Challenge match against Roscrea in Nenagh at 11am on Sunday. Please be in the field at 10.30am.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-16:<\/strong> The first round of the football championship takes place on Saturday, March 21st against Inane Rovers in Roscrea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration:<\/strong> Could those not registered please do so immediately. For insurance purposes, unregistered players may not train or play games.<\/p>\n<p><strong>St Patrick&#8217;s Day:<\/strong> The juvenile club will be marching in the parade again this year. The boys will get more information from their respective team managements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>North Tipperary:<\/strong> Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g juveniles featured on north Tipperary under-14, under-15 and under-16 teams in challenge matches played last weekend. The under-10 and under-12 panels are training Monday and Thursday from 17:30 &#8211; 18:30. The under-14 panel are training Tuesday 17:30 &#8211; 18:45 and Thursday 17:45 &#8211; 19:00. This is so we can publicise the details on our website and various social media channels. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Tipperary:<\/strong> Hard luck to the Tipperary under-16 team who were defeated by Clare in the Munster semi-final at the weekend. We had a large representation on the panel and all the girls did the club proud.
