Indeed, Brian was an absolute credit to his family, his friends and to the town of Nenagh.<\/p>\n<p>Brian was reported missing on Friday &#8211; Brian was last seen at 12.15am on Friday morning in the Carbon Niteclub on Eglinton Street, Galway. <\/p>\n<p>Following a public appeal a co-ordinated search was organised and began at 9am on Sunday morning. Shortly before 10am the Nenagh Ormond Search Unit, led by Tom Harvey, discovered the body in a canal adjacent to the Corrib River.<\/p>\n<p>The Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g club would like to extend its sympathy and deepest condolences to the Gubbins family.<\/p>\n<p>Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g would also like to commend the emergency services, especially the Nenagh Ormond Search Unit, and the Garda\u00ed at Mill Street Garda Station for their efforts.<\/p>\n<p>The Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g club would also like to commend \u00c9ire \u00d3g supporters, the people of Nenagh, the people of north Tipperary, the people of Galway and the University of Limerick student population for their help with the search this morning.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation will take place into the circumstances of Brian\u2019s death.
