For a full report on this encounter please see the club website &#8211; click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nenagheireog.com\/index.php\/blues-safely-through-to-junior-a-quarter-finals\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior B:<\/strong> Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g\u2019s junior B hurlers were expected to play Portroe on Sunday evening, but that game was postponed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minor A:<\/strong> The minor A clash with Kilruane MacDonagh&#8217;s fixed for Thursday, August 7th was postponed. This week the lads take on Borris-Ileigh on Thursday, August 14th in Templederry at 6.30pm. Toomevara man Damien O\u2019Meara won last year\u2019s competition while Paul Burke was second, Mark Flannery third, Denis Ryan fourth, pre-season favourite Noel Maloney was fifth, David Burke sixth, Eddie Darcy seventh, Dean Ryan eighth, Jimmy Henry ninth and Brian McDonnell tenth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lotto:<\/strong> Congratulations to Sarah Ducie (Puckane) who won the \u20ac4,100 club lotto jackpot- lucky dip winners Tom Fox (c\/o the Quill) &#038; Gemma Mulcahy (Bulfin Crescent). Next draw August 11th &#8211; play <a href=\"https:\/\/www.locallotto.ie\/play.asp?LL_ID=292\" target=\"_blank\">online<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><strong>JUVENILE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-6 &#038; Under-8: <\/strong>Training continues at normal times. Matches planned so keep practising.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-10:<\/strong> Our under-10 hurlers enjoyed a great match against Roscrea on Saturday morning. Keep up the great work at training.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-12:<\/strong> The boys are travelling to Dublin for the Tipp-Cork semi-final on Sunday and training continues this week in preparation for a match on the way. More details from management during the week. Up Tipp!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-14:<\/strong> Our under-14 North hurling semi-final versus Kildangan had to be called off at the last minute on Saturday last due to weather conditions. Both teams were togged out and ready in the dressing room when the heavens opened and the correct decision to call off the game was made by referee Ger Fitzpatrick. The match has been re-fixed for Saturday in Puckane at 12 noon. Please come out and support the lads.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-16:<\/strong> Please check club website and face book for details of last Monday\u2019s under-16 match against Roscrea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NENAGH HANDBALL CLUB<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hard luck to Eamonn Spillane who lost out 2-1 to Gerry Foley of Ballinahinch in the Diamond Masters B Munster Final on Friday last. Eamonn has another chance for Munster glory this week when he teams up with Gerry to play the Diamond Masters B Doubles Final in Tuamgraney on Thursday night. Management will be in contact with the details. We also played Kilruane MacDonagh\u2019s in Nenagh last Thursday in a very entertaining challenge game. Thanks to Kilruane for making the journey and the game. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-14:<\/strong> The under-14 team take on Ballina in the opening round of the A championship on Thursday at 7.15pm in Nenagh. Your support is appreciated. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-15:<\/strong> Congratulations to our under-15 team which defeated Drom &#038; Inch last week in the county league final. It was a great performance all round and a deserved reward for lots of hard work from a dedicated panel and management team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Under-16:<\/strong> Our under-16 team had a great win over \u00c9ire \u00d3g Annacarty in the championship during the week. This is our second win of the campaign having previously beaten Drom &#038; Inch and losing to Newport. This victory sees us through to the knock out stages. Well done to all involved. This will be the first time the club will have featured in the junior A championship. This game is at 7.15pm in Templemore and your support is more than appreciated. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Bag Packing:<\/strong> A sincere thank you to all who volunteered to bag pack last weekend in Tesco. This is a vital fundraiser and your generosity is very much appreciated.
