Cian O&#8217;Farrell netted the all-important goal, while Mark Tuite and Cian Connolly contributed some superb long-range scores. This was their Round 9 fixture and marked the end of their group-stage campaign. The team has gone from strength to strength each week, with every player continuing to develop and improve. In very warm conditions, the girls produced a spirited and determined performance against a strong Boherlahan Dualla side.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Although the visitors built up a significant lead in the first half, Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g responded with a tremendous second-half display and battled right to the final whistle. It proved to be a memorable day, filled with drama, determination and every weather condition imaginable. A strong swirling wind dominated throughout, making conditions difficult and demanding resilience from every player.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span class=\"text-token-text-primary cursor-text rounded-sm\" data-placeholder-token=\"true\"><div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Group Stage<\/h3>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Oliver Plunketts (Louth)<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Oliver Plunketts made the brighter start and held the advantage at half-time. Nenagh battled back bravely, but a torrential downpour turned the second half into a real test of character. Despite a determined effort, Plunketts held on for victory.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span class=\"text-token-text-primary cursor-text rounded-sm\" data-placeholder-token=\"true\"><div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>London GAA<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Another closely contested game followed despite the challenging conditions. The turning point came when Nenagh&#8217;s goalkeeper was forced off through injury. London capitalised with two late goals to secure the win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span class=\"text-token-text-primary cursor-text rounded-sm\" data-placeholder-token=\"true\"><div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">A sincere thank you to Mountmellick GAA for their outstanding sportsmanship in providing crutches for our injured goalkeeper, a wonderful example of the F\u00e9ile spirit. Nenagh defended superbly into the wind during the opening half, restricting the hosts&#8217; scoring opportunities. Bellaghy found their rhythm after the break to secure victory, top the group and advance to the Cup semi-final, while Nenagh progressed to the Shield semi-final against Scotstown GAA of Monaghan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span class=\"text-token-text-primary cursor-text rounded-sm\" data-placeholder-token=\"true\"><div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Shield Semi-Final<\/h3>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Scotstown GAA (Monaghan)<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">With the rain finally giving way to sunshine, the players swapped raincoats for sunscreen, although the swirling wind remained a constant challenge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span class=\"text-token-text-primary cursor-text rounded-sm\" data-placeholder-token=\"true\"><div class=\"clear\" style=\"margin-bottom:25px;\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Nenagh produced an excellent performance and remained firmly in contention until the closing stages before Scotstown pulled away.
