Congratulations to Sam O’Farrell who was awarded the University of Galway Sports Person of the Year recently. Sam, who starred for the University in this year’s Fitzgibbon Cup, had a stellar year in 2025 captaining Tipperary to the All-Ireland under-20 title while also capturing the Liam McCarthy Cup with the seniors. Well done Sam from everyone in the club.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to \u00c9anna Tucker and the Tipperary minor hurlers who defeated Cork last Friday evening 2-17 to 0-16. The play Limerick next on April 30 in The Gaelic Grounds. <\/p>\n

The Tipperary senior hurlers were beaten by Cork in the first round of the Munster Championship, their next game takes place against Waterford in Walsh Park on Sunday, with throw in at 4pm. Best of luck to club reps Jake Morris, Josh Keller and Sam O\u2019Farrell. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our under-20 footballers are playing their North final against Ballina shortly. Please keep an eye on our social media channels for details of this fixture. We wish the players and management the very best of luck and hope a good crowd will go and support the team.<\/p>\n

Our senior hurlers play Kiladangan at 7:30pm on Friday evening in Puckane in the next round of the senior hurling league, best of luck lads. <\/p>\n

Aodh\u00e1n O’Connor gathers possession in the North junior-A league match against Kilruane MacDonaghs.<\/p><\/div>\n

Commiserations to our junior-A hurlers who were defeated by Kilruane MacDonaghs on Saturday evening last in the North league, 2-19 to 1-12 with Darragh Walsh scoring our goal. The lads now play Borris-Ileigh on May 2 in Borrisoleigh.<\/p>\n
