Cardiac Screening – Dillon Quirke Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday next , December 2nd \u2013 with the support of the Dillon Quirke Foundation \u2013 Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g GAA Club is offering 45 young people, aged 12-18, from our community the opportunity to participate in free cardiac screening. <\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Cardiac screening can help identify underlying heart conditions that can lead to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) and it is vitally important to have that knowledge.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

This is a pilot for this outstanding charity and we are delighted to work with them. Further information, including a link to register your interest in having your child screened, is available on the attachment below:<\/p>\n

Tipperary GAA 6K Santa Dash!!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

On Sunday next, December 3rd 2023, Tipperary GAA will hold the inaugural Thurles Fresh Milk 6K Santa dash.<\/p>\n

The run commences from The Dome at FBD Semple Stadium at 11.30am, with registration for the event from 10.30am. Tickets can be pre purchased on the link below with details of prizes etc below<\/p>\n

AGM<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

We held our club AGM on Tuesday 21st November in the Nenagh Eire Og Complex.<\/div>\n
Our Chairperson Tom Boland thanked all the members for their contributions throughout the year.<\/div>\n
The club treasurer Tom McAuliffe who has supported the club for over two decades stepped down as Treasurer but will thankfully remain part of the committee. Caitriona Cleary has similarly stepped back from the Registrar role but will also thankfully remain a committee member. <\/div>\n

We welcomed our new members Siobhan Smyth, Ger Shoer, Stephen Kelly on to the team and are looking forward to working with them throughout the year ahead.<\/div>\n

Thanks to the Dapp Inn for hosting our committee, coaches, mentors and volunteers to celebrate the 2023 season on Saturday 25th.<\/div>\n

GAA Healthy Clubs – Fitness Classes<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n
Our ladies strength classes for beginners continue each Thursday in the complex from 8-9pm.<\/div>\n
Classes are \u20ac12 and teenagers attend free.<\/div>\n
