If you have not yet joined the lotto or if your ticket has recently expired (check recent emails from Clubforce to check status of your ticket), please consider signing up again – it is our main fundraiser and contributes enormously to the day to day running of the club.<\/p>\n

    Senior Hurling<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Well done to our seniors who had a three point win over Toomevara in the North Quarter Final on Sunday evening last.<\/p>\n

    We have been drawn to play Templederry in the North semi final, this game will take place next Sat evening at 5pm in Cloughjordan.<\/p>\n

    Junior Hurling<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Well done to our Junior As who defeated Borrisoleigh in Round 2 of the championship last weekend. The score was 1 – 10 to 5 points with Cian O Farrell getting the goal. Round 3 takes place on Fri next where we play Kilruane MacDonaghs in Toomevara at 7.30pm.<\/p>\n

    The Junior Bs will play their Round 3 game next weekend also, this is fixed for 12 noon on Sunday where they play Ballina in Ballina.<\/p>\n

    We extend our sympathies to the Phelan and O’Connor families and to the Roscrea club on the sad passing of Fiona Phelan last week. Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam. <\/p>\n

    Scrap Metal Collection Fundraiser<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    The club\u2019s annual scrap metal collection has been extended and items can now be dropped off from Mon to Fri this week (6pm – 9pm) and on Sat morning from 10am to 12. Posts on social media outline the items that can be dropped off \u2013 contact Shane at 087 63703830 with any queries.<\/p>\n

    Healthy Club Initiative – Boccia <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g are running a pilot *Boccia* program for *past and retired members* of our club.<\/p>\n

    Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Summer Camp<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    The 2023 Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Summer Camp will run from August 15th to 17th, Tuesday to Thursday, 10am to 1pm, \u20ac40 per child. Contact Niall on 087 4086439 to book.<\/p>\n

    C\u00fal Camp<\/strong> <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    The C\u00fal Camp for this summer is now taking enrolments, go to https:\/\/www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie\/booking<\/a> to secure a place for your child. <\/p>\n

    Under 5<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Training for under 5 boys is now underway on Saturday mornings at 10am on the club astro. Contact John on 087 1365053 to join up. <\/p>\n

    The under 5 group will have their first blitz against Silvermines on Saturday 22nd July at 10am in Nenagh.<\/p>\n

    Under 7<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    The Under 7 boys had a busy week this week, on Wednesday the boys played our \u00c9ire \u00d3g Under 8 girls. It was great to work together and have some fun.<\/p>\n

    On Saturday morning the boys welcomed Toomevara for a blitz. Each team had four games and the boys really enjoyed it. Well done to everyone.<\/p>\n

    Training continues at 10 am on Saturday mornings at the club grounds. Mid week training is on Wednesday from 6 to 7.<\/p>\n

    All new boys are very welcome to come along and give it a try, contact Erica on 086 8774496.<\/p>\n

    Under 9<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Training continues Tuesday evening 6-7.15pm and Saturday morning 10-11.15am. <\/p>\n

    We love to see new faces coming along, boys born in 2014\/15 are very welcome to come and give it a try, contact Alan on 087 7518789.<\/p>\n

    Under 11<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Under 11 boys played Holycross in two matches on Sunday morning last, the progress the boys are making was very evident with everyone performing really well.<\/p>\n

    There is a big program of games coming up so we look forward to these boys showing their skills and determination in the games.<\/p>\n

    Training continues on Tuesday from 6 for both hurling and football and then on Friday at 6 for hurling. All new boys are very welcome to come along and give it a try, contact Cathal on 086 0806460.  <\/p>\n

    Under 13 <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Well done to our C team who had a well fought win over Shannon Rovers last Monday evening. The A & D panel played Kilruane last Tuesday evening and lost out in both games. On Tuesday evening the C team played Templederry away and the D team will play Kiladangan at home on Wednesday evening at 7pm.<\/p>\n

    The U15s will play Toomevara at 7pm on this Thursday evening in MacDonagh Park. Training this week is on Tuesday. <\/p>\n

    In teir opening game the U17s were defeated by Toomevara in Toomevara on Monday evening last.<\/p>\n

    The Blue team travelled to Clonoulty on Saturday afternoon to play Gortnahoe in our co semi-final. We played with the wind in the first half and, thanks to great work throughout the field, we led 3-3 to 3-1 at half time.
    \nThe wind told in the second half and they knocked over 2 points straight away. Gortnahoe went then went 2 points ahead, but Lucyanne Cleary and Aisling Ryan both scored to put the sides back level.<\/div>\n
    However the strong wind began to tell as the Nenagh girls tired. Gortnahoe knocked over two more points to claim the victory. Final score 4-9 to 4-7.
    \nWell done to all the Nenagh girls on a great effort and a very entertaining match. The Blue team will now progress to the Shield Final.<\/div>\n

    Glen Dimplex Senior All Ireland Championship  Quarter Final<\/b>.<\/div>\n

    The Senior Tipperary Camogie team played in the quarter final of the All Ireland championship against Antrim in Croke Park on Saturday afternoon.  <\/div>\n
    Tipperary won on a score line of 3-23 to Antrim 0-6.  <\/div>\n
    Grace started at corner forward and scored the opening point of the game. <\/div>\n
    Tipperary’s next game is the All Ireland semi final on July 22nd in Nowlan Park against Waterford. <\/div>\n

    Rachel Maher and her team mates had already qualified for their All Ireland semi final and following an open draw on Saturday evening Roscommon were drawn as their opponents for this match which will be played on July 22nd 2023.  The venue has yet to be decided.  <\/div>\n
