Junior Hurling Leagues<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Our Junior Bs lost out to Kiladangan in their final group game of the Junior B League on Sat evening last \u2013 final score in the game was 2 \u2013 20 to 1 \u2013 11.<\/p>\n

The Junior A League commences next weekend. We play Kilruane MacDonaghs in our first game on Fri evening at 7pm in Nenagh. The other team in our group of 3 is Toomevara.<\/p>\n

Tipperary<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Well done to Jake Morris who had another great game for Tipperary at the weekend, scoring 5 points in the draw with Limerick.<\/p>\n

Jake’s fine performance earned him a place on the GAA.ie Team Of the Week and he went on to be chosen as the Hurling Player of the Week – well done Jake!<\/p>\n

Tipp now play Waterford in their final group game next weekend.<\/p>\n

We wish Conor McCarthy a speedy recovery from the knee injury he sustained last week.<\/p>\n

There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 13, 20, 29 & 32.<\/p>\n

    Scrap Metal Collection Fundraiser<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g will be holding a Scrap Metal Collection in July – dates and times for drop off are outlined below. This gives plenty of time to organise any scrap metal that you have and drop it to us in July.<\/p>\n

    Guess The Score Fundraiser<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    Guess The Score cards have been distributed to all Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g underage groups this week. Cards can be returned at your next training session to either the lead coach alternatively a committee member will call to the session to collect cards.<\/p>\n

    All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to fund the running of the juvenile club, your support is appreciated.<\/p>\n

    2023 \u00c9ire \u00d3gres proudly sponsored by EBS Nenagh New Mortgages Nenagh<\/strong> held its final session last Saturday morning and what a brilliant morning it was with the kids having tremendous fun followed by goodie bags being distributed to every child, the goodie bags included an exclusive Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3gres T-shirt & treats. <\/p>\n

    We are very excited to see all the little \u00d3gres stars move to U5 training next Saturday morning at 10am on the club astro facility. Thanks to all the wonderful helpers who came together to make the \u00d3gres camp the most successful program to date. Thanks to all the parents who helped coach the little \u00d3gres over the past few weeks, we look forward to all of these parents continue to stay involved and help out on the coaching front with the U5s.<\/p>\n

    The U9 boys played Burgess in a hurling blitz on Monday evening last in Kilcolman. Both teams did great and thanks to Burgess for hosting. The boys also played a ‘Go Games’ hurling blitz in Roscrea on Friday evening with over 40 teams taking place in what proved to be a highly enjoyable evening.<\/p>\n

    Training continues on Tuesday evenings from 6-7.15pm and Saturday mornings. We love to see new faces coming along, boys born in 2014\/15 are very welcome to come and give it a try, contact Alan on 087 7518789.<\/p>\n

    Under 11 boys played teams from Moneygall and Ahane on Sunday morning last. Some brilliant hurling on display, thanks to both clubs for travelling and providing worthy opposition. Tuesday <\/strong>evening training for hurling at 6pm followed by football at 6.45. We will also have hurling training on Friday at 6pm. <\/p>\n

Again we had 30 girls on 3 teams, playing 3 matches each against Ballina, Portroe, Kilruane, Silvermines, Kiladangan, Toomevara & Newport.<\/p>\n

    Hard luck to our u14 teams who were both beaten in their county semi-finals on Saturday in Boherlahan. Team 2 lost out to Rockwell Rovers by a single point. The girls fought to the very end but just could not find an equaliser. Thanks to all the girls for the great effort they have put in all year.<\/p>\n

    Another Munster Champion in the club this weekend when Rachel Maher togged out with the Tipperary Junior Team against Limerick in the County Camogie Field.
    \nAfter a smashing goal from play in the first half, the Tipperary ladies did not give an any ground maintaining the score ratio throughout the match, final score Tipperary 1-09 to Limerick 0-08.<\/p>\n
