\nSENIOR<\/strong><\/p>\n

2014 Team Managements:<\/strong> The respective team managements were ratified at a committee meeting on Monday evening and read as follows:-<\/p>\n

Senior Hurling:<\/strong> Liam Heffernan (manager), John Fitzgerald (coach), Enda Costello & Noel Coffey.<\/p>\n

Junior A Hurling:<\/strong> Ger Tucker (manager) & Donie O\u2019Brien.<\/p>\n

Junior B Hurling:<\/strong> Conor Ryan (manager), Derek Lillis, Joe Hanrahan & David Minogue.<\/p>\n

Under-21 Hurling:<\/strong> Ger Tucker (manager), Michael Cleary, Eddie Tucker, Greg Browne & Donie O\u2019Brien.<\/p>\n

Minor Hurling: <\/strong>Greg Browne (manager), Con Morris, John Manley, Eamon O\u2019Brien & Christy Mcloughlin.<\/p>\n

Congratulations:<\/strong> Our congratulations this week go to Michael Heffernan and Paddy Murphy who both featured for Tipperary in the Premier\u2019s 4-22 to 3-11 Waterford Crystal Cup final win over All-Ireland champions Clare at P\u00e1irc na nGael in Limerick on Friday evening.<\/p>\n

County Senior Hurling Championship:<\/strong> Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g have been drawn against Clonoulty-Rossmore, Roscrea and the Templederry Kenyons in group one of the Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Hurling Championship. The Blues will face Clonoulty-Rossmore in the opening round on the week-ending April 13th. \u00c9ire \u00d3g have also been drawn against Burgess in the opening round of the County Senior Hurling Challenge Cup. That game is scheduled to take place on the week-ending Sunday, March 2nd.<\/p>\n

North Championship:<\/strong> The draw for the north Tipperary senior hurling, under-21A hurling, junior A hurling and junior B hurling championship will take place on Thursday, February 20th – this year\u2019s minor A hurling championship will not require a draw since it will be played on a single-group round-robin basis.<\/p>\n

Membership: <\/strong>Membership for 2014 is now due and can be paid to any club officer or online<\/a>. The cost of membership is priced at \u20ac25.<\/p>\n

National Club Draw:<\/strong> We are thrilled to announce that Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g will be participating in the national club draw which features some sensational prizes – tickets are priced at \u20ac10 and available from any officer of the club or committee member. JUVENILE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Juvenile Registration:<\/strong> Juvenile Registration will take place on Wednesday, February 19th (5.30-7pm) and Saturday, February 22nd (10am-12). The fees remain unchanged at \u20ac25 per player and \u20ac50 for two or more. There are also family membership deals available with more information on the club website. For insurance purposes, unregistered players will not be allowed to compete in games.<\/p>\n

National Club Draw:<\/strong> Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g are participating in the national club draw which features some sensational prizes like trips to Australia and the US – tickets are priced at \u20ac10 and parents are asked to support the club in this initiative. To promote the draw the juvenile club are also offering a package of a ticket and a subsidised Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g beanie hat at \u20ac15 for both – this offer will be available during registration. Training:<\/strong> Under-6 and under-8 training has resumed indoors on Saturday mornings from 10-11am. New members born from 2009 onwards are welcome.<\/p>\n

Best of luck:<\/strong> Best of luck to all our boys taking part in north Tipperary divisional football trials.<\/p>\n

Mouth Guards:<\/strong> Mouth guards are compulsory for all football games and training sessions for teams and squads since January 1st 2013. Mouth guards are available in most sports shops and players will not be allowed to participate in games or training without one. For more information on mouth guards please refer to the GAA website, www.gaa.ie.<\/p>\n

HANDBALL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our players on the colleges teams acquitted themselves very well last weekend with Sin\u00e9ad Meagher reaching the Munster final before losing to Clare opposition. Doubles team Eimear Meagher and S\u00edle Spain and CBS representative Eoin Meagher played very well, but lost out to the eventual Munster champions in their respective divisions while Katie Morris and Danielle Nealon lost by a single point (28-27) in a super game. Well done to all involved.<\/p>\n

Fixtures:<\/strong> Final – Diamond Master B Doubles: Tipperary 1 (Eamonn Spillane & Gerry Foley) v Limerick 1 (John Joe Fahy & Pat Henerbry) on Saturday, February 15th at 3pm.<\/p>\n

CAMOGIE<\/p>\n

Registration:<\/strong> Our registration night has passed, however, if you missed it please contact Denise Morris or your team manager as soon as possible. No player will be allowed train or play with the club unless they are registered as they will not be covered by insurance.<\/p>\n

Training: <\/strong>All our teams will recommence training in the next two weeks. The various managers will be onto players soon confirming training times. Our under-8 and under-10 teams will not be back training until the end of the month.<\/p>\n

Tipperary:<\/strong> Well done to Alanna Morris, Rachel Maher and the Tipperary minor Camogie team who defeated Clare in the opening round of the championship on Sunday last in The Ragg. Alanna had a great game at corner-back and we wish the team the very best in the rest of their games. <\/p>\n

Volunteers:<\/strong> we are always looking for new people to get involved in the club and if you would like to contribute to the growth of Camogie in terms of administration, coaching, playing or in any other way please email eireognenagh@gmail.com<\/p>\n

National Club Draw:<\/strong> The Camogie clubs are selling tickets for the National Club Draw. All money raised will go back into the club and will be used for up keep of the club grounds. We ask everyone involved in the Camogie section to please purchase a ticket. Tickets cost \u20ac10 and are available from any committee member. <\/p>\n
